Hubby (USC) is Kipster, and he reads over my shoulder (or when I'm so shocked by the direction of a thread that i MAKE him read it).. he also posts.

Are there no foreigners from the Middle East who post on VJ?

Did anyone do a poll to see what spouses from what country post here? I'm wondering if it's the English writing factor. My husband isn't interested in this stuff at all but someone who is might have a problem with the arabic to english keyboard thing. Just a shot in the dark though.

OMG my husband thinks the same thing. everytime i go home from work and im like " ed on VJ today....." he rolls his eyes and asks " so you did no work again today?"

My husband is the foreign spouse. His English is very good. But he doesn't participate on VJ.

I can assure you, however, that he is most grateful for the help I've received here...

Just curious. I know that a lot of foreign spouses from various regions do, but one segment that seems missing is foreign spouses from the Middle East - particularly the men. It would be nice to get their perspective on things.

My husband reads some of the posts here, especially ones concerning his country. And he's offered his perspective a couple of times in ME/NA (in Arabic.) He's also made the acquaintance of several of the ME/NA husbands, and has spoken with them by phone/chat.
