Another update on my missing visas/passports:

2 hours ago I got a voicemail re: Canada Post, from executive support on behalf of Minister Qualtrough.
Prime Minister's cabinet is already investigating!

Then, 45 mins later, I got a phone call from my local MP.
Said that they contacted their connection at Canada Post and made my case go to the absolute highest person it can go to, and also marked it as the absolute highest priority.
They are turning the place upside down and I will receive a call back on Monday. If my package isn't located by then, they will personally help me do whatever needs to be done to fight and help replace my Passports/Visas.

Great news!

It's a step in the right direction anyways.

I am not a force to be reckoned with, as Canada Post is beginning to learn. Hahaha

I just hope they find (and get me) my package. It would be a lot less stressful than having to replace everything.

Yeah I really hope that's what happens. The last place it was seen was the sorting facility in Richmond right?

Congrats on the interview!!! And yes this is normal, everyone hits AP. It will first say "immigrant administrative processing" then will switch to "non-immigrant administrive processing" - once you see non-im it's a good sign you will change to "issued" very soon.

We had our interview last week and were "application received" until Friday, where I first saw "non immigrant AP" which changed to issued sometime this past Monday.

Thank you!! This makes me feel much better. Hopefully it will move as quickly as yours is moving !!

Yes. It was scanned going in to the Richmond sorting facility and then 'fell off the face of the earth' apparently.

And then do you know if it was supposed to go to it's final destination from Richmond? Just wondering if/hoping they'll only have two spots to turn upside down looking for it.

Yes it would have gone from Richmond to Langley and I was to pick it up from Langley.

I went to Langley and asked them about it and they told me that it was scanned going into the Richmond plant at like 12:55am. From there, it should have been scanned again at about 3:30am as it was heading out of Richmond and heading into Langley. Then it would have been scanned when it got to Langley, then one last time when it was ready to be picked up.

It only has the one scan going into the Richmond building and nothing has happened since.

The Langley post office said it definitely went into the building and hasn't left (in Richmond.. unless it was stolen)

For fk sake! Welp, fingers crossed that the employees at Richmond are scrambling to find it with the MP on their case!

Quick question for anyone who already had interview. I just checked the status on the ceac site and it says “administrative processing” and says it could take several weeks or longer. Does anyone know if this is normal?

Depends on how you look at it. I'd say my case is not normal. ;-/ been in admin processing since march 6th. Most people are getting it within a week though.

Just changed to issued! Anyone know if there is a way to track the courier? I tried the link they give you on the ceac site and it says “not found”

You should be getting an email with a tracking number!
