Ahh I had mine here in BC and picked up the results in person.

The Consulate for sure only takes the taped 'do not open' envelope. Your immunization records are yours. They have those in the packet that you hand over.

Don't stress too much about the interview. It's really not so bad once you're in there. Go in with confidence and faith that everything will be smooth sailing and the second you get that pink paper, you will feel the weight lift.

I was very nervous too. Especially with having 3 k2s. I couldn't even eat the entire day before (I probably could have used some Ativan haha).

You will be just fine.

I can imagine how you feel. 😂 I hope I can sleep good tonight.  Thanks for answering my questions. I feel relieved and somehow lucky that I can share my thoughts here in visajourney. :)

Hi guys. I had my interview this morning. I got approved. It was straightforwarded questions. I think it lasted like 5 minutes.  Thanks for all your help here. Hope it won't take too long for them to issue my visa since I'm permanent resident. Will update here soon. Goodluck to everyone.

Yay! Congratulations!

Hey guys. So we still haven't received any notification but does anyone know if we can still change the shipping location of the passport/visa? We're planning on leaving Montreal and my fiance is heading back to Toronto over the weekend if we don't hear anything by then. I do see that on the Visa appointment website there is a option to change the location but i remember vaguely while booking my fiance's appointment back in january that we can't change the the details of the appointments from 6am on the day of the visa interview. Does that mean i can't change it? I wouldn't want me changing the location  to cause any further delays.  Does anyone have any clue? We would rather have it shipped to Toronto than have to come back to Montreal.

In hindsight, we messed up. We thought we'd get the visa back within a week but here we are.

Hey! So I looked back at one of my emails, and it does say that you only have until 6 a.m. on the day of your interview to change your delivery address: "You only have until [date of interview] 06:00 local time to change the location where your visa documents will be delivered. After the time indicated above, the option to change the courier location will be deactivated from your account and at this point no courier changes will be allowed." I guess you could always go into your account and see if the option is still there or if there's anything else you can do, but unfortunately it looks like you would have had to already changed it.

$475? That's interesting that the price is different at each Civil Surgeon.

What did you pay? :o

I was already up-to-date with my vaccines so this was the cheapest for the medical in Montreal.

At Dr. Cheema in Surrey (BC), it's $350. ($150 for kids)
I paid $910 total though.. $800 exactly for me and my 3 kids, then $110 was added on because my daughter needed a shot.

I just would have thought that it would be the same regulated price across the board. 🤷‍♀️
