Wow classic montreal response!

Proving domicile is really only for those who aren't currently residing in the U.S. - So everything he hands in, like the tax docs, pay stubs, whatever else, should have a U.S. address on it either way, making it clear he is domiciled here.

IF it makes you feel any better, I'm a USC lifetime/current resident here in the states and I'm still including copies of my voter ID, lease agreement, and utility bills, because I'm afraid of everything... lol. I know they won't be needed at all but whatever 😂

Also do you know if it matters that the my fiancé’s physical address on the I-129f is different than his address he’s at now? He moved (literally down the street lol) during the process and I put his new address on the DS160 and I will put it on the affidavit 134. We put his grandmother’s address for mailing (which is still the same) but the physical address has changed. We didn’t contact the embassy about the address change bc the mailing address stayed the same and figured it would just be okay to update the address change by putting it on the affidavit and ds160. I’m enjoying our chat! Ahahah thanks again, I’m so glad we are able to help each other out!

As far as I know, that's perfectly fine for the interview but I'd say try to update the new physical address with USCIS, I think you can do that in through his online account.

And also same! VJ  has been the most helpful tool for this whole process!

Posted this in the Jan/feb thread too, but just so no one misses it... If you are looking at an interview after May 6th, the I-134 has been updated and old will expire then.

https://www.uscis.gov/i-134

02/13/19. Starting 05/06/19, we will only accept the 02/13/19 edition. Until then, you can use the 11/30/16 edition. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the form and instructions.

That's good to know.
My fiance (the USC) is sending up his recent tax returns, other evidence, and blank signed copies of the I-134 for me to fill out and assemble (I'm better with forms and paperwork). He mailed it 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received it. I got him to check the tracking and it's not expected to get to me until Monday afternoon!!! I have to fill it all out, make 4 copies of everything (so there's a package for each of us, since Montreal was useless with their response if I needed separate copies for everyone or just one for the family) and my flight to Montreal is early Tuesday morning.
Needless to say I had a meltdown today and would probably cry if I had to bring the newest I-134 instead.

While I'm thinking about it.. the clerk  (the one that collects your paperwork before you're printed) wrote "Missing Documents" and sent my fiancee to get a photocopy of one of her documents. Is this going to be a problem?

She wasn't actually missing any documents, but had a slight mix-up that the sadist of a clerk refused to let her check. The only thing she was missing was a photocopy. The interview itself was extremely quick and she was approved...

Also, we were changed to "Administrative Processing" already, but that's normal... right?

"Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks, or longer. As explained on the day of your interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.

For more information, please visit U.S. Consulate General Montreal."

CONGRATS!!! Keep us posted on how long the passport return takes - ours will go to vancouver too, so very curious :)

Post Office claims we'll get it Monday! Interview was first thing yesterday, passport was shipped today (we did pay for Expedited Courier or whatever it was), so 2-3 business days in transit.

I got mine the Monday after the interview.  Considering Canada Post doesn't do week-end delivery, it's pretty decent.

I'm leaning towards flying out of Toronto Island, which means I won't pre-clear US Customs.  It would be the first time in a lot of flights I haven't pre-cleared...it's not a big deal, right?  Every other country is handing over their K1 package upon arrival in the US...

Should I just suck it up and buy a WJ flight instead of Porter and go to YYZ?

Yeah that won't make a difference at all, you'll be fine either way.

I went with WestJet out of YYZ.  I am being realistic about my own irrational anxieties haha.

I feel that so hard lol. Plus you'll get all stress out of the way first and the flight will be a stress free homestretch!

I did my Interview on Weds March 6 for my K1 Visa and got Approved with my 2, k2s! I checked CEAC yesterday and it was in  AP, today it was changed to ISSUED for all three of our Visas! Now just to wait for the tracking # ! Is anyone has gotten this far, has it been through email, or on the usvisa-info.com site? I have been checking both :)

Also if anyone has questions about K2's , I'd love to help! I know throughout this process that was the hardest part because the lack of info available !

Take care all! xo
