Thank you!  It's surreal seeing the visa in my passport.  Seems like it took so long, but now it's so soon!

I have some projects at work I wanted to see through, so the plan is first week of April.  24 days until T is here to help me pack up.  So crazy!

Do not rent a car in Montreal. I live here it's a nightmare to even think about driving in the city lol Oh I meant to quote ErikandLeo oops, anywhos

You can walk downtown much easier than driving. :) The airport bus is very convenient with direct connection to the metro and several downtown stops. That bus is $10 though, but cheaper than the taxis, which will run you $40+ tips one way

we follow you and we'll take the bus instead  , by the way my fiance will also be there on my interview and we choose to booked an apartment thru Airbnb close to the Consulate like a 4 minute walk and also will purchase a multi day pass for the bus. We might rent a car but that's for a visit in Ottawa to see the Parliament Hill and other places outside the downtown of Montreal

Hey Guys. Another probably redundant question: When we first booked the interview we didn't select the expedited delivery. Is it possible to change that so that we may get the passport/visa back sooner? Is it even worth it though to change it? We chose to have it couriered to a BP nearby in Montreal

Address: 800 RENELEVESQUE O, MONTREAL, QC H3B3B0, CA

I on the https://ais.usvisa-info.com but i don't see an option to add the expedite service. Please advise thanks!

In the US visa account in the edit pick-up location it says "Courier delivery to a home or business address is available for an extra fee. You will have the option to upgrade to home/business delivery at the end of the scheduling process." You can change the pick-up location but not sure how to get to the part where you would normally add the expedite.

Do you live in or near Montreal?

I wasn't able to locate the part where you can edit the delivery information. We are staying in montreal until we get our passport back.

Expediting probably wouldn't make it any faster then since it's just being sent within Montreal. I feel like that option is more for people who live far from the consulate or from a post station. Hopefully your case will move swiftly through AP. Good luck tomorrow!!

Approved!  Hoping she gets the visa quickly, though we're on the west coast (Vancouver).

Then we get to move... then file for EAD and lifting restrictions... this process never ends :P

CONGRATS!!! Keep us posted on how long the passport return takes - ours will go to vancouver too, so very curious :)

Thanks!! Are you moving down to Oregon? Maybe we'll be moving buddies! We're U-Hauling to San Francisco, probably the last weekend of this month. 😊

yeah! I'm the USC so my fiance will be moving down to Portland, but it probably won't be until July ish (ya know, if we actually get a visa and don't go into a 5 year AP). We'll also be U-hauling... should be quite the adventure lol.
