Anyone know anything about when/if any interview dates will become available? It’s been a week since I received packet 4 to schedule my appointment. It seems like a terrible system of constantly checking to see if someone cancels with no idea when they will start to open up more dates ...

Getting so anxious to at least have an interview date so I can book my medical. My NOA2 also expires in beginning of April so I’m starting to get worried we won’t get an interview before then. Anyone else in this situation or know anything about embassies that have “no appointment dates available”?

They released March on January 30th.  It's normally last week of the month; if they stick with Wednesday, that would be the 27th.

Hello All!!
Updating my case for anyone in this process PLUS a question!

I travelled to Surrey last week to do our medical (Myself and K2) The Medical was extremely straight forward and easy. My K2 (son) was on antibiotics for tonsils and that was no problem at all, just brought along dr note and List of medicine from Pharmacy. Dr. Cheema was so nice and his staff at the front desk really make this process easy, answered alot of questions and were very friendly.

I recieved my medical back two business days later by curious (the weekend was in between).

Next step in Montreal in 1 week.

QUESTION!!!

I noticed on the email and Packet 4 when you book the interview it states to bring in ALL PASSPORTS even old ones. This is the first time I have seen it mentioned anywhere but seems like it is very important.
I have Current Passport and 1 prior for myself and K2, However I do not know where the older ones before that are, and the last recent one for my 2nd K2. In ya'll opinion is this essential?? Just a note *We all have our current up to date passports with at least 3-5 years left before it expires****

Thanks and if anyone has any questions about the medical or my process this far I am happy to answer!

We've been wondering this too. Please keep us posted on how things go. If it makes you feel any better, my fiance will only have his current passport with only a few months to spare on that "6 months expiration" rule, lol. Going to suck big time if they expect his passport from 10 years ago, because it definitely doesn't exist anymore. 🤣

My fiancee's interview was on 2/20 and they only asked for her current passport.

The interviewer told her that she was approved and expect the passport to be returned in less than 2 weeks. This morning we got an email that the K1 visa has been issued along with the Canada post tracking number 😁

I really can't see them needing old passports cause when you go to renew your passport you have to surrender your current one (at least that's what I remember from 2 years ago when I renewed mine).

I will for sure keep you updated and that does make me feel a little better lol ! I only have my old one because I literaly just applied for my new one 3 months ago as my expiry was coming up on the old one. I kept some of the kids more for the cute old pics on them. I feel confident it shouldnt be a huge deal but I do know its sometimes case by case.

This is great feedback!! I am really praying ours comes through that fast as we are trying to get to USA about 2 weeks after our interview!

Whoa. Did it really take them almost 5 weeks to get it to you?  That wait must've been tough!

Yeah i received a snail mail last Tuesday with a photocopy of our I-129F and a letter requesting  proof of immigration status (i thought that's P3 ) so i sent to them the scanned copy of my PR card few minutes after I read the letter ... P4 is next 😉

Hey guys!

I just moved back in with my parents until I move to the States, so I'm wondering if I need to inform both USCIS and the consulate in Montreal. My fiance will be moving in a few weeks as well, so we'll both have different addresses than what we have in all of our paperwork (same cities, just different locations). I don't see the harm in notifying them both, and all I have left is my interview on March 13th, so I don't see myself getting any other mail from them in the mean time. Has anyone else moved during this process? If so, who did you you notify? Thanks! :)

Congrats!! Did you send in your P3 right when you saw your CEAC date update?

No, I waited 2 days. The date updated Feb. 20 and I sent P3 Feb. 22. I still don't have my P3 instructions so who knows where they sent them lol
