Thailand medical turnaround

So what's the average turnaround for getting the medical results ? I read one or two days , so I was going to schedule our appointment 2 days before the interview to save money from flights and hotels, knock it all out at once. However, she called burmangrad and they told her it's a one week turnaround. I'm thinking they say that just to give themselves a buffer. What has everyone here experience ?

My fiancée's experience in September at Bumrungrad was that she was able to pickup the results the next day after about 1PM.   It seems if the exam is scheduled for either a Thursday or a Sunday, the results *may* be available the next day.   I am familiar with at least 2 others ( @pscorb and @Loren Y ) who were able to get results the next day based on a Thursday or Sunday appointment.  So, it is possible, but I can not say that is necessarily the norm.

@J&M95 had to wait 2 days for results, but the exam was on a Saturday (not a Sunday or Thursday)

Also I am familiar with a case where a Thai K2 child dependent delayed hospital results by a couple of days due to waiting for skin test results necessary to detect TB in children.   As we read here so frequently, every case is different.

In the case of my Fiancée, she had all immunizations completed and documented before attending the exam and passed the initial exam without any issues.   I imagine they can not specifically tell you when results will be available because the exam may indicate that additional testing could be required, thus delaying the results (such as failing the x-ray TB test which may require secondary testing, testing to determine additional vaccinations required if documentation provided at the exam is not complete, or other follow-up testing determined necessary as a result of the initial exam, such as a Psychological Exam.  )  But that is just speculation on my part as to why they would not commit to early availability of results during scheduling.
