Hi Everyone!  We filed our N400 on 12/4 with a priority date of 12/12.  The biometrics appointment in 1/7.  I am also on the December 2017 I-751 Filers forum as we now have both petitions pending.  Is there any one else here who has crossed over from the other forum?

Yes I got letter in mail and my interview is next month but i request to changed my name so i hope the process is smooth and faster

^^^ This. I'm in Tampa. I filed N-400 Dec 19th. Had my biometrics yesterday. Got notification that case has been updated. Logged in and I see case completion has changed from the original 12 months to 8 months now. Estimated completion time: Sept 2019. Fingers crossed. Hope everyone's moves along quickly.

Wife completed Biometrics today.

Only one other person there for Bio.

There were 3 security guys letting us through.  Why 3 needed I will never understand.

Must be a terribly boring job with nothing much to do.

Just think, they could eliminate 2 of the guards and re-allocate that money to hire people to process our files !!

Filed N400 online 7 December 2018. Biometrics were scheduled for 24 December but the office ended up being closed on that day. I had my biometrics yesterday (January 9th).

We did too! We filed the I-751 in January 2018, but the N-400 in 12/2018 and had the biometrics appointment last week (1/4).

We actually waited for our 10 yr green card first. File i751 in July 2017 and was just approved in Oct 2018. We wanted to have the GC in hand before filing N400. Now we can just sit back and wait for the N400 interview.

We did exactly the same.  Wife feels great to have the 10 year Green Card in hand and not worry that the I-751 might be held up to achieve dual processing with N-400.

 

The 10 year GC allows most everything that Citizenship would . . . except for jobs that require Citizenship.

I had my biometrics today, I live in Chicago suburbs so it was very quick, less than 10 mins, it was pretty empty...

Been a crazy one over here since I last commented! We had to leave for our trip to England over Christmas and New Year and my Biometrics came through with a date of Jan 2nd 2019, but we wouldn't be back in the country until Jan 10th! Had a nightmare trying to get my BIL to wait on the letter (which over the Christmas period was so slow), and then had to have it overnighted so it would arrive in time. Considering how long it took for ROC Biometrics I was shocked at how quick this came around so it was very stressful to be out of the country and hear nothing from USCIS in that time. Then yesterday I got a new Biometrics letter with the reschedule for February 6th. I think I'm going to try for a walk-in earlier than this as that's a little further out than I thought it would be rescheduled for. It'll be in Oakland, CA. Anyone else been successful with a walk-in with this particular office?
