I am going to walk in tomorrow instead of my appointment on the 2nd. Should wait for the actual appointment letter to be received or I can just print the document from my account and go there?

My letter arrived in the mail the day before we went in so we took that one. They put some stamps on the letter when we checked in. I’m not sure if it matters if it’s the mailed one or a printed version.

Walking in early for Bio is very different from office to office (and probably changes over time also).

When I was back in the AOS and ROC sections . . . some people were very successful in X cities . . . while others were rudely turned away in Y cities.

So ignore what anyone tells you about how successful you will be based on their success story.

Hi Guys,

Joining the club... :)

I filed Monday and estimated time is 12 months [Dec 2019] but I just noticed in my application snapshot that there is an address missing for a job I held 4 years ago overseas. Although, I remember completing that section.

I have noticed a couple of glitches on the online system, a question that was not answered and the address not showing.

I hope this will not affect my application too much. Crossing my fingers.

Another question for you folks.

On the N-400 Timeline, I noticed that for people who applied in 2018, it seems to move along a decent pace. [Under 12 months]

Have you noticed a pattern - estimation is greater than the actual time too?

I do hope that all our application get the same pace.

Thanks :)

Hello! I will say my estimate for Dallas is saying 2020 but based on timeslines of people here, it is also taking 12 months, so I think the USCIS estimate is way overestimated and they're doing that to simply cover themselves so I'm taking that estimate with a pinch of salt.

I have the same issue, I 100% sure that I added 3 addresses that I lived for the past 5 years, but when I click to see the Application Snapshot, it only shows the oldest one. I hope it is a bug of the website, and they got all my information correctly.

Hello Everyone,

Just filed my N-400 online and earned membership to this group! Hoping the last phase of this long journey goes by without much incident! I felt extra paranoid checking and double checking and in some cases even triple checking information before hitting submit. So far so good.  How are you guys checking your estimated completion times? And how do you know which office it went to? My ROC was with the California Service Center. I had filed for that in March 2017 and eventually got my GC in July 2018 (16 months!) Should I look under that for this as well? Does this the N 400 follow a different process? I'm in Tampa, FL currently.

Good luck to everyone!

Wife received ROC approval December 4, 2018.

She then filed for Citizenship via N-400 on December 6, 2018.

Estimated Case Completion Time:  8 months, or August 2019.

This 8 months is different than other have already reported . . . so I guess the timing is dependent upon each persons local office.

And today, December 8th received notice that they have scheduled the Biometric appointment.

But the time of the appointment will show up in the Documents section, and there is a note that it may take several days for this appointment document to actually show up on the website.  I suppose they will be mailing a paper copy also.

Anyway, happy to be joining this December 2018 Citizenship Group.

Best of luck to all.

Leo

Glad to see someone form July 2017 ROC group in here!
