Thanks bucky. Yes, pretty much. For instance, I applied instantly to the US Passport but found that I have bring and send the original documents (Certificate of Naturalization) and name change (in my case). I have bring the original documents to many different entities and it will probably take 4-6 weeks before I get back any docs. Oops.

Congrats to you... You also have to go to Social Security with your Citizenship Certificate to show your status has changed to Citizen. In one of the booklets you received on your Oath Day it gives you the information and you have to wait at least 10 days after the ceremony to go into S.S.  so it is in the verification system.

Does anyone know if there is any guidance on next steps as a citizen?

How was your interview experience at Baltimore? Good? Just OK? Did they give any hard time? And specific document they asked for?

Hello All,

Just wanted to provide an update - I received my interview for September 03.  My I-751 case approved somewhere in April' 2019.  I had filed N400 concurrently while my I751 was pending.

I have a question and appreciate any/all suggestions - I didn't receive the physical copy of the Interview letter in mail (I think it got lost in the mail).  However, I do have an online account and I have a copy of the letter from the online account.  Do I need the physical letter from USCIS or can I just use the letter I downloaded from online?

Thanks.

The online version is the same as the one they mail to you. If you have a good printer and printer paper, no one can tell the difference.

@peacan Great!  I did print the online version.  The content itself is identical.  So, I will just take the online copy, they usually just need to scan the bar code on the letter.  Hoping for a smooth run.

Thanks again.

Hi all,

My case status has changed to Oath will be scheduled. I am not sure what triggered USCIS but I contacted a Congressman, two senators in my states, a letter to the field office where I live, two service requests, one infopass, and I don't know at least 10 phone calls and multiple messages from my online portal.

Does anyone know when it says Oath will be scheduled, how long does it take to get the actual letter and perhaps online letter?

Thank you,
