CITIZENSHIP PROCESS

December 2, 2018 submitted application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 14 months or March 2020.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled , date not yet shown.

December 10, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for  28 December 2018.

December 13, 2018 did a walk-in to the scheduled service center, and they did the appointment on the spot. New completion time reads 13 months to February 2020.

May 10, 2019 - received notification that interview has been scheduled. Date for the interview is Jun 12th, 2019. Completion time reads 9 months to February 2020.

June 12, 2019 - Passed the Interview. Waiting for Oath Ceremony Date. Estimated Wait Time: 6 months per the online portal. 

June 17, 2019 - Oath Ceremony Scheduled to July 9th, 2019. Wait Time: 5 months per the online portal. 

July 9th, 2019 - Oath Ceremony Done, Naturalization complete. Total time was 220 days or 7 months and 8 days.

Just updated the table in the prevoius reply.

 

Is anyone sending updated documents to the online portal? Such as tax returns and foreign travel information.

CITIZENSHIP PROCESS

I am going to have my N-400 interview tomorrow but I haven't heard back on my . I-751 yet. I contacted USCIS and they had no idea what to do so I am just going to show up. there is no progress on my I-751 since April 2018. Is there anybody who is in the same boat as me?

Applied for ROC: 01/23/2018 still pending

Applied for Citizenship Online: 12/09/2018

Got Notified that BIO is scheduled but the date is not shown: 12/15/2018

BIO appointment is posted on my account: 12/18/2018

Received Interview Notice: 04/22/2019

N-400 Interview Date: 05/21/2019

An update for anyone that's interested:

 

- Applied Dec 19th 2018 (N 400)

- Biometrics completed Jan 8th 2019

- Interview schedule notification on March 19th 

- Interview scheduled for Apr 23rd. Passed / Approved same day. 

- Oath Ceremony notification Apr 27th 2019

- Oath ceremony scheduled for May 17th 

 

All steps took place at the local Tampa field office. I went in on the 17th and received my naturalization certificate. It's been a long process and I'm glad to be able to finally put this behind me! I'm going in tomorrow to my local post office to apply for the passport. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

In my interview notice, It says that we MUST bring some documents. Do you guys know what does it mean by "Any evidence of Selective Service Registration."?

So I had my interview today. The officer had no idea about my pending I-751 and he said he is going to request my I-751 application to be sent to him and approve it later. he did the N400 interview and told me that I I passed the test. He said he will approve my I-751 as soon as he receive the application. Hopefully everything goes smooth.

Hi everyone,

 

I applied back in December 2018, had my interview March, the original completion date was estimated for November 2019 now changed to June 2019, is that reliable? I am done with everything just waiting for Oath. Anyone in same boat?
