Hey, 

I just wanted to share my data points for your references as well if anyone wants to put in the matrix:

Applied online on 12/14/18, cashed the next day, received bio notice 12/15/18, did walk-in bio on 12/19/18; got interview notice 2/22/19, interview was on 4/3/19 (was really quick and relaxed atmosphere - photo, fingerprint, read: what is the capital of the US; write: Washington is the capital. Then the six civics questions which were all on the easier side as well; couple more questions from the N400 form and then that was it). Got notice that oath ceremony is scheduled yesterday (can't see that date yet). 

All in San Diego.

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

OK, wife got email notice and notice on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/  that her Citizenship Oath  Ceremony has been scheduled for 24 April 2019.

 

Hard copy letter to come in U.S. Mail.

It says right on the website that there may be a delay before the item shows up in Documents.

 

The delay could be 10 minutes for some and 5 days for others.

 

This shouldn't be surprising to those of us who have been dealing with this for several years.

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

Hi everyone! I filed I-751 in September 14, 2017 then filed N-400 in December 7, 2018.

I finally got interview dates for both cases!

N-400 is in April 22 and I-751 is in May 15.

My online case status of I-751 hasn’t changed since March 1st and it says: “Case was transferred to your local USCIS office to have an interview scheduled.” ...So I didn’t expect to get the letter today.

I was hoping to have a combo interview since it’ll be at the same office but I guess it’s not happening. However my husband is still coming with me for my N-400 interview ( just to be there for me) so I’ll bring this letter and documents of I-751 just in case.

*Posting this on both threads I-751 and N-400 for sharing my updates.

 

My timeline (As of April 13, 2018)

USCIS office: CSC

Local office: San Bernardino, CA.

 

[ I-751 ]

• September 14, 2017 - Submitted I-751.

• December 13, 2018 - Got RFE

• March 23, 2019 - NOA for my interview date in mail: Scheduled on April 22, 2019.

@yumty Why do you think the combo interview isn’t happening?  It should happen automatically.  In our case, I sent a letter to the USCIS office that sent the ROC correspondence last and to the interviewing office with copies of the USCIS letters for both cases.

 

My husband received an email confirming that he will receive a combo interview AND a phone call from the officer that his interview will be a combo.

 

The ROC interview does need to happen at the same time or your USC will be delayed.

Don’t quote me on this, but I think I read somewhere that if you get the notice over the weekend you will have to wait until the next business day for the letter to upload. 

Either way, it finally showed up yesterday morning. Oath scheduled for April 26th!!

i have a question regarding processing times

my processing time shows the completion of my n400 as may 2020. does that mean that the entire process will be finished by that date meaning oath completion or will i have an interview around may 2020?
