Starting to worry

Hi all -

Should I be concerned that I sent in my I-129F packet over 3 weeks ago and that my check has not been cashed and I have not received anything yet?

USPS confirmed the delivery but there was no requirement that they 'sign for' the package.

USCIS says not to call unless it's been 4+ weeks.

From all I've seen and read on this site, it sounds like everyone's check is at least cashed in a timely manner.

Starting to worry...

I would not start worrying right away. Apparently there are a few delays at the service centers right now. There have been people on VJ with your same problem and they did end up getting their checked cashed and NOA1. If you want to call, go ahead, I really don't think it will be a problem. Remember the process needs a lot of patience.

Good Luck!

You know they received it so just give it some time for the check to be cashed and the NOA to be sent. They're not gonna let checks sit around for very long . . .

Mine was received on 25th March and the cheque has not yet been cashed so you are not alone in waiting for some action from CSC.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

Thanks for your reply. Looks like we are on nearly the same time line.

Please let me know when they cash your check our you get your NOA1.
