On the first page of the I-485 it asks for:

Date of Last Arrival: (03/02/07) I-94#: XXXXXXXXXXX

Current USCIS Status: K1 Visa Holder Expires on: ??

Do they want the date the I-94 expires on, or the date the K1 visa expires? My husband's I-94 expires 5/31/07, but his visa expires 07/20/07...

September 12th, 2006 - Sent in I29F to California Service Center

September 23rd, 2006 - NOA1 Received

December 6th, 2006 - NOA2 Online - APPROVED

January 31st @ 7:30 AM - Interview APPROVED

June 7th, 2007 - Sent in AOS, EAD, and AP Applications

June 15th, 2007 - NOA1 for AOS, EAD and AP

July 14th, 2007 - Biometrics Apointment

August 17th, 2007 - EAD and AP APPROVED

September 18th, 2007 @ 9:03AM - AOS Interview APPROVED

July 29th, 2009 - Sent in I-751 -Lifting of Conditions

July 31st, 2009 NOA

August 29, 2009 @ 12:00P - Biometrics Appointment

I had the same question a few days ago and they want the I-94 expiration date because the visa is invalid after entry. ;)

exactly...after entering the US the 6 mnths validity of the visa is not important or counted at all.

what matters is the I 94 expiry within which you have to get married in this country. The K1 fiance looses her right to stay in this country if you do not get married before the I 94 expiry which is 90 days from the date of entry.

There is no deadline for filing in the AOS.

Getting married is what is essential within that date.
