Hi @Damara! I have the same timeline with @FeDaniela. It is also a renewal under I485, still waiting for my EAD. I didn’t get an automatic extension. How can I get one?

The 180 days automatic (6 months) extensions is mention on your I-797C NOA Receipt, they are certain categories the apply for this extension C09 (AOS) is one of them

 check this link  https://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/automatic-employment-authorization-document-ead-extension

With my I-797c receipt and my expired EAD I renew my license and also continue working. But we need to receive the Physical EAD before this extension ends if not we have to sent another Renewal with copy of everything, and all documents will be expired this is my worry  i cannot afford to be without a job and 2 children 😕

I have question please .

Based on this extension you just mentioned 6 Months .

Did they Renewed your DL at DMV for 6 Months only or they Renewed it for one Year ?

Thanks in advance .

DMV only Renew my DL for the 180 days extension time... my DL expired on December 15th  and with the extension was renew until June 2019.

Hi @gramercy

That's Mean your case transferred to local office without getting any notification update online or sending to you NOA

Then you found out your case got transfer when you made an appointment  at infopass to inquire about your case ?

After my case went to the NBC I did not get any updates online & my attorney didn't receive anything in the mail.

And can I supplement my documents that we have already submitted by providing them with a background check and physical evaluation?

Background check  must be done by the FBI.

if you are talking about police clearance then yes you can submit anytime before final adjudication.

Hi Everyone

I am just wondering .

I see Some cases just getting transfer from VSC to NBC then getting other transfer to local office . Other cases getting transfer from VSC direct to local office .

Does anyone knows why ?

All cases  USCIS  ships  from VSC to the local office and from the local office to NBC and then the file returns  to the local office again.. Uscis is messy and they don’t update all cases online, but all cases are treated equally,

Hi, does anyone know how can I request expedite for EAD?

I got my card 3 months after filling, when I received the document it had incorrect information on it (due to USCIS error) so I sent it back with supporting documents and they accepted in on Jan 16.

I want to do service request, but I am not sure which one should I fill in, should I go for “case outside normal processing time” or “typografical error”?

How long does it take to get it fixed anyway, it’s been 20 days so far.. Thank you all
