I haven’t been there but usually others said only questions about yourself like where sinyiir live, work, etc... I had read that nothing about your ex, thank God!

Are you using the same 485 filed based on the marriage case before ? If yes .

..  I Believe when they put 485 on hold  they do not issue Ead Card .

Are you sure? Because I received receipt notices about my I765 renewal. If they’re not going to issue, then they wont send me a letter saying they’re using my previous fingerprints.

@GWMAW be patient, mine changed to case was approve after 23 days if receiving my C31 EAD. I'm still waiting on the notice approval notice in the mail as well.

If you don’t get approval notice after 8 weeks, your Lawyer should do an InfoPass or write to VSC to requested. It happened to me, I got approval on 10/29/2018 got my EAD Card on 11/6/2018 but my lawyer requested my I360 NOA’s Approval Notice on 12/27/2018 so USCIS just sent it to me on 1/22/2019 so I have it in hand already since 2 days ago. You must have it! Sometimes USPS doesn’t delivers them...

Almost the same thing happened with me too . And I never get it .

I am not sure 100% .

But I heard when USCIS put 485 on hold they don't issue EAD card . Also I have had Read about that Online .

Thanks for the info @FridayGirl@69 got approval on Jan 23rd. Card in hand Jan 10th. I will wait. 8 weeks as adviced before requesting the i360 NOA's Approval Notice.

@Yollande your welcome! This will be 2nd time for me not getting approval notices but my lawyer made inquires after 8 weeks,  it works! My advise after being at InfoPass according of what the USCIS Officer told me : You must have NOA’s Reciept at all times for your records.

After 8 weeks “average time” to get NOA’s Reciepts my Lawyer made the request thru InfoPass. Easy and convenient if you don’t get it within the next 2-3 weeks most likely you won’t get it but according the lawyer we must wait 8 weeks to do the InfoPass for it! I did it both times and it worked perfectly 😍  🙌🏼🇺🇸

Unfortunately yes waiting for nothing .

 I am not sure 100% .

They have to send you Notice that they have received your 765 and it is only part of the processing when they send you letter say they are using your pervious fingerprints when your fingerprints still active or not expired  . then they will stop the processing when they find out that your 485 on hold .

 

It's Long story but I filed New 485/765.

It's been almost over than 5 months since filing and still waiting for any news about new 485 and 765 . only I did my biometric appointment after filing  .  until now I didn't hear anything , just waiting . I didn't get my new EAD yet .

How long did you wait for the previous I765 renewal before filing a new one? And did you get help from you congressman or senator?

No , I didn't .

For pervious 765 it been almost 9 Months still nothing yet .. Just waiting for nothing .
