You can apply for your child when your green card is approved submitting form l824,you had the option to submit along with your AOS as well but it seems you filed already your AOS.It will take one year for NBC to process the form l824 and your child have an interview back home.

Thanks sandranj, you always make me believe in humanity, and realize that there is something unique about you, the kindness is out of this world, indeed Am grateful to God for you, your life and your family, be blessed when you come in and go out, in season and out of season. I appreciate your every effort you put in to help each and everyone on this platform.

hi sandraj i filed 765/485/360 december 18 2018 i recipients for that date when will i get fingerprints

Biometrics usually are between 5-8 weeks after you filed so you should be getting the notification in the next few weeks. You have to be behind your lawyer.

sample:

5/25/2017 Packet in 765/485/360

7/3/2017 Biometrics appointment

I hope it helps!

Unfortunately the Goverment shut down plays a factor, hang in there!  Why did it take you so long to answer the RFE?

If they asked you for RFE is good so you will be approved! Best Luck!

Ok thank you. I did and my hearing is still going to be in February. Hopefully I don’t get deported and I can get vawa cancellation of removal

If it's your first hearing then it will last 10min, your attorney will ask for a master hearing and the master hearing can take over 1 year, in NYC  is taking 3 years.

Uscis will not give you any information over the phone.Vawa cases are protect by privacy law.

They can give information regarding your AOS if you filed before your VAWA case, but sometimes they realized you have a Vawa case and then they don’t give information regarding the AOS either. In case you want to inquire about your l485 your friend can call USCIS but they will ask you if this person is inquiring on your behalf, you must be present when your friend call them.

Thank you! I just emailed my congressman to help expedite,  they sent me the privacy release form and I'm sending it back tomorrow.  I hope this helps.

Do you have many expedited EAD successful cases Sandra? @sandranj based on financial loss ?

Thank you

Thank you @sandranj I went to see One today but she didn’t tell me it would be that long. She said I could go alone on the first day and ask them for time to retain an attorney and that I wouldn’t be deported

@Jawithlove May I ask, you are in removal proceeding, and you already knew before you file I485.that Only EOIR has jurisdiction over your case not uscis. What your lawyer suggest you what to do next? File motion to terminate to close your case in court? or put court docket on hold?
