Hey everyone. I filed dec 2018 

 

I'm curious to know. Am I the only one that is filing VAWA as a battered parent? 

 

I have so many questions.  

Do I still have to have interview for i485 if I get approved ?

Additional Evidence of Abuse sent: November 3, 2017 
EAD and AP Renewal Received:November 6, 2017 
EAD and AP approved:November 24, 2017 (So Fast but Thank you!) 
EAD And AP Card Mailed: November 28, 2017 (letter received they used my first biometrics) 
EAD And AP Card Received in mail : December 2, 2017 (The start date is the approval date not the expiration date of the first card which is feb 2018)  
Travel to 3 different Countries: May 1-30 2018 using Advance Parole.  LAX port of entry. 
EAD And AP Renewal: August 4, 2018 
EAD and AP Card Production: August 30, 2018
NEW CARD PRODUCTION: Under I-360 VAWA - January 4, 2019 Best Birthday Gift Ever!!! 
WE MAILED YOUR NEW CARD:Under I-360 VAWA - JANUARY 9, 2019

I am May 2017 filler, I already got I765 and I360 appovals on October 2018 at VSC I am processing I131 at this moment and waiting for my I485 Interview appointment which it might take another 10-23 months. You should contact your lawyer to get InfoPass to ask about your case, I know some people from May-April 2017 are still getting responses  now. I hope it helps.

Applied for first EAD category C14,on august 30th 2018,applied for I-485,I-765,and I-131 till today nothing yet first EAD is past 4 months and the second one is past 2 months !im so worried i can’t even work i can’t feed myself and my kids life is very tough .I don’t know what is wrong with my own case.Is this normal with EADs?😭😭😭

I totally get it, unfortunately USCIS is taking a long time to respond, my timeline May 25th 2017 I didn't hear anything until October 29 2018, it took 17 months to get an answer now still waiting for my I485 and I131...Hang in there, hopefully it will come soon!

I was looking at the processing times. I see that they are still processing some of April ( so far latest was April 24th, 2017). hopefully you hear something good from them. I will keep praying!

I lived in Mexico for a short period of time at the end of 2014 which is within the 3 year period prior to filing for VAWA. I didn’t get police clearance for that since my attorney didn’t request it for filing. I’ve asked my family to get the police clearance letter from the town I stayed in but they are hesitant since they don’t think the police will give them anything. Also do I have to submit original? Or can they scan a copy. Has anyone had similar experience and what did you do?

When VSC transfer 485 to NBC ? 

How long it takes From VSC to transfer 485 to NBC or to local office when you summited 485 after vawa approved ? What is the next steps ? 

I was Reading online they do not send NOA when they transfer the case to NBC only update online and NBC center schedule all interview appointment not local Office !
