Hi,

Can someone suggest me what to do. Nov 28th I received a response from my Senator's office that my file is in background check. December 20th I made infopass appointment and I was told they would not tell me any information about my file because it's vawa and Vermont does not share the information with anyone. I don't know what should I do. Can someone suggest me what should I do. Should I send another request through senator's office? Or should I wait.

Today I got the email saying that they have received a correspondence to my case and they will review it. Do anyone know what does this mean. I didn't send them anything.

Hello guys I have a pending i360. My attorney on 12/17/18 mailed out the renewal package for my EAD and today on 1/3/19 USCIS took the renewal fee out of my bank account. Can any one tell me roughly when I can expect a Receipt for my EAD renewal. Thanks in advance.

I am a Vawa filer from April 24th 2017.

Approximately it takes 4/5 weeks .

Hi there, I have a question. I finished my undergraduate career on Dec. 2016. I am still in the process of vawa. Can someone tell me that whether I can go to graduate school with the i360 pending? I’m the Jan. 2018 petitioner. I can pay the tuition fee without financial aid. Do I have qualified to apply graduate school? Thanks for all replies!

@SssMay Congratulations on completing your undergraduate studies!!

Yes, definitely, you can apply to any school for your graduate studies especially if you're paying out of pocket, that's all they really care about is if you can pay the tuition 🙂 I love school so much 🙂Best of luck on your studies!!

I really appreciate your help, @Gogetter18. For the worst scenario, if the USCIS reject my i360 when I am studying in graduate school, should I have to stop to studying immediately? I’m very worried about this.

No, you won't have to stop schooling, it's not the same as working without an EAD. And by God's grace, your petition WILL be approved!

If you don't mind me asking, what program are you studying for? And remember that they're plenty of online and hybrid programs available now, so sometimes you can complete your coursework online and save yourself some gas money and stress from traveling to and from school daily. I did all my schooling, undergraduate and graduate school, online except for when I had to go for my clinical rotations at different hospital locations.

Just stay focused, it will be well worth it at the end 🙂

Thanks for your kindly replies. I’m preparing to go to Buiness Graduate school. God will bless you.

I'm very confused and not happy now. my i360 was approved dec, 21 2017 since then I have not heard anything. I had i130 which was pending since 2016. sometimes last year, I went to info pass and was told that the supervisor is with the file for adjudication. till this moment no online updates or anything.  I wrote to my congressman last week, still waiting to hear from him. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hey, Happy new Year all

Please @sandranj, or anyone that can answer.

I recently got RFE, i want to know if its neccessary to go for another psychological evaluation. or is it now too late considering that the abuse happened over a year ago. someone suggested i go for another evaluation to make my case have more weight. So going for another psychology evaluation will it help. my previous therapist didnt really provide more detail.

Thanks

@Omega why I not wait and received the RFE to see exactly what USCIS is asking in the RFE? It might just be for Good moral character or something else. Once u get the RFE, u will better understand what they need from you. Stay strong 💪
