@Jawithlove A marriage based petition can be denied if the petitioner (former spouse) withdraws the petition, which many of them evil people do just to intimidate/control their spouses, and you cannot appeal that, you just have to refile another I485 petitioning for yourself or if someone else petitions for you.

Thank you now I know that’s what the evil bastered did ! Merry Christmas 🎁

Thank you for the info. New card in production 12.19, card was mailed to me 12.21. Those are the 2 updates I got.

You should have the EAD by January 6th-10th, have all ready to apply to SS# Office so you can go right away to process it, it takes another 5-6 weeks for them to send it directly to your address.

Now it is just to wait another 8-14 months to get the I485 processed, it all takes a long time under new Government Administration.

If you haven’t done it yet apply for your I131 Travel Permit, it takes around 4-6 months to process too BUT you can get and InfoPass to expedite an Advanced Parole Permit to visit your family.

i am doing it due to my Mom’s health.

Keep me posted, what month and year did you apply?

My green card arrived earlier than the estimated delivery.  Super fast, and also received the letter of approval and welcome package.  Happy day, and early christmas gift  😀

Can you share your timeline and service center, please?

Congratulations 🍾🎉 💫

Best Luck in your New Journey 🇺🇸 😍

Hi, just curious why you need a request to expedite 1-131.  What is it for?

I’m not sure if it has been like this for awhile and I only noticed now, but the local offices have updated processing times for I485 and separate the timelines in employment and family based. We are self petitioners. Does anyone know which timeframe we go by? If any!
