Finally after 21 months I got a case update that my I-360 was approved.  Im very happy but still nervous until I receive the actual notice.

I already have an EAD card category C9. Will I be receiving a new card under C31?

Congrats, don't be nervous everything's going to be alright.

Merry Christmas

@CASTIEL I love that name, reminds of the angel in the program "Supernatural" 🙂

Your next update will be "case has been approved" by God's grace. The worst is behind us, just look forward to new beginnings. I filed a few months ago, so I still have some ways to go (hoping not too long though). I truly wish they could expedite the processing of VAWA cases, it's not easy being without a job especially when one has children to take care of. Hopefully they shorten the processing times so that we all can receive our approvals and move on to the next stage of our lives, and show our detractors that they are NOT God.

All the best to you!!

Thanks!

I really hope they start processing things faster and that everyone in here will get their EAD or cases approved faster then usual.

I did apply for VAWA and AOS at the same time, got receipts for everything. Now it’s just a waiting game, I’m teaching myself how to be patient and live a life I deserve, not the one when I was abused and threated like I was worthless.

What are some resins for your Marriage based i485 to be denied without being able to appeal? Only reopen

@Jawithlove A marriage based petition can be denied if the petitioner (former spouse) withdraws the petition, which many of them evil people do just to intimidate/control their spouses, and you cannot appeal that, you just have to refile another I485 petitioning for yourself or if someone else petitions for you.

I did it all thru a lawyer, she gets all documents from VSC after she reviews them she sends all to me via mail.

Vermont Center is the slowest to process VAWA Applications.

once you get your EAD go yourself to the SS Office with your Birth Certificate, Passport, letter (any) to proof your mailing address and your DL or ID it takes 4-6 weeks to receive your SS# card.
