Hi everyone.  I had my interview 2 weeks ago, they gave me the paper which stated that it had to be reviewed. The interview was short, but asked me to provide the originals, example marriage license, divorce decree, court disposition and expungement.  Birth certificate and passport.  Followed by the questions, yes/no and how we met.  I also showed some mail that I had with my ex, etc.  I was nervous, not gonna lie.  I wanted to get approved on the spot but I saw that not everyone gets approved on the spot.

Yesterday I received a text, that my card was mailed.  One of the happiest days of my life and I want to thank the members of this website.  I got all the information to file from the members of this website.  Now the next step is n400 in 3 years  👍

Sorry for your status taking so long. You should contact your attoney or congressman to require about your case. You won't receive any information from USCIS about your vawa based on request online. It's id confidental for all vawa cases.

Wish you getting all the good news for your case soon.

You can make iforpass and contact Obudsman to verify your case for what is happening. Try your best to get the correct answer form USCIS. Be patient please.

My local office is Newark NJ and I had my NOA on december 4 2017.  My biometrics were done january 23 and after that I had no updates.  After this thanksgiving in november I got a letter and it was for the interview.  I went to the interview december 6.  So I will say a year and a couple of days.
