Hello Everyone.

I want to know if this is normal. I apply from I360, 485 and 765 all together and I also apply for Fee waiver and I got this notice from USCIS for only I360

I don't know if they've  waived the i485 too because I don't have any receipt for it and also the i765. I'm just confused. Please enlighten me. Thanks

ok thanks also how long is EAD card take to approve filed c9 processing time shows 2-5 months online

EAD (co9) is currently taking about 6 months. USCIS has a goal processing time of 90 days however there is currently a large number of petitions in the system and most people are currently waiting apx 6 months. I would be very surprised if you get it in 2-3 months. If you have submitted 765 based on 485 (co9) you can ask for an expedite for financial hardship or a pending job offer. Many people have been asking for expedites lately because of the long wait- they are not approving expedites as much but it is still worth a try if you need it.

Hi Everyone ,

Does anyone has experience about juror summons ?

Does anyone Received letter for jury Duty before ?

what to do when you receive juror summons - For someone (Non citizen , Non LPR) ?

Only citizens can participate in jury duty. You should call the clerk on the notice for instructions but usually you will need to send a letter saying you are not a citizen and not eligible. You also want to double check you were not registered to vote when you got a DL/ID. Many places get jury duty lists from voter registration lists. Make sure you are not registered to vote.

My EAD got approved in 3 months.

VAWA based application accepted August 28th 2018.

Received letters of approved combo card today, it took 110 days.

@monoxidelullaby That is fantastic! Not sure if you just got lucky or if things are starting to pick up again.

I read through your previous posts- you never applied for EAD with your original AOS packet? You also mentioned a fractured tooth... are you OK dental wise? Theres a great program called 'give back a smile'. Its basically dentists doing dental work for free for victims of abuse. It has some limitations on what they can do and I believe it has to be for the 'immediate 6 front teeth' section. Look up the program if you still have dental concerns, it can really help you.

Thanks!

I really hope they start processing things faster and that everyone in here will get their EAD or cases approved faster then usual.

I did apply for VAWA and AOS at the same time, got receipts for everything. Now it’s just a waiting game, I’m teaching myself how to be patient and live a life I deserve, not the one when I was abused and threated like I was worthless.

Generally there is no fee for i-360 for vawa applicants, the form is free so the fee is usually waived upon receiving it, for the other forms, you should wait for the receipt or rejection from uscis as there is no way to tell if it has been accepted or not.

Thank you Drama for your help and this information .. I will try to do what you advised me , Also on the letter it says they need to ask me some questions , if I didn't answer this questions online they going to send me some papers to fill it up and send it back to them , I know one of this questions asking about are you USA citizen definitely my answer no , The only thing I didn't know is it a good idea to send them copy of my passport or copy of work permit or just write my A Number along with the papers , In addition I am thinking about Maybe I have to go to court and I show them my passport I don't know should I do that now or just go on the juror summons date exactly which on the letter .. Hope that's the right thing to do !

@xoxox don’t worry too much about this. It’s pretty common. I’ve done it at least three times already. Usually, there is a box to check if you are not a citizen. If not, Call the number on the form, or send the form back to them, saying you are not a citizen. They will take you out of the court schedule.

Good morning you amazing people can you please tell me why USCIS received my VAWA application twice and does that mean that they just started to review my application in 2018, and right now on the USCIS website says that the processing time is 16.5 Months to 21 months for Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)April 03, 2017, does that means that my application may or may not be approved by the year 2020. if someone has a better understanding and can clarify please do it so scared and confuse.

Thank you

The processing time on uscis website is correct but your timeline is quite confusing, did you file twice? When exactly did you file?.

It happened with you too . I Believe they just choose random for DMV . I thought I have to send them copy of passport or give them A Number or go to court to approve Non Citizen , I didn't know is Easy to solve this matter by calling the them or just Mark non citizen on the form . thanks @escape a lot for your answer and I appreciate your help and your time .
