Hi Kleenex12,

Do you mean that the USCIS does not send an appointment for biometric data collection (fingerprinting) when the option to receive a work permit is selected on the I-360 form once Vawa is approved?

FORM I-360. Page 14, Part 10, Item12:

Thank you for your cooperation and attention to

Do not worry yourself about that. From my knowledge there's no fingerprints for i-360, I did check yes and i never received fingerprints for that, after 5months I decided to file i-485 and i-765 then I received notice for fingerprints based on i-485 and I-765. However I also received EAD based on i-360 after approval, I never did a separate fingerprint for it.

Hello Ilo,

Thank you very much for sharing your experience, my case was the same as yours.
I had doubts because I read in the forum people who claimed that USCIS had sent them an appointment to take fingerprints when the I-360 was filed only (without filing Forms I-485 and I-765 (C09)) and the option was selected to receive an EAD.

But it's already clear to me!

Thanks for the info!

They write priority date in your receipts but just spouses of green card holder have  to wait a visa number to be available in order to receive the green card .

August 28th 2018 they received my VAWA application

Received RFE September and replied to them

October 28th they received my RFE

Just got a notification that my EAD was in production!! Super happy and grateful

The I-131 (travel document) didn’t show up any notification about card production, does that mean I will be getting only EAD or its gonna be combo card?

Folks please read one by one of the previous thread. Most of you keep asking the same question over and over. If your spouse is a U.S Citizen forget about the priority date. If you just filed I-360 forget about fingerprints, do not start with the "why", it is what it is!!!!!
