BE hopeful go with postive mind ..and explain your situation to the officer ..take along proofs of abuse and tell him or her to hold the i485 in abeyance for your vawa approval..just pray before going ..and if he denies it you will file another one there is no big deal about that ..if you Dnt have money for i485 file for waiver .,God bless you

Thank you. I don't know why I'm emotional and overwhelmed right now. I know so many of us are in this situation and some are struggling more than me. It's so hard, today I was told the field office in NC was tough. I'm hopefully, but now that it's getting closer to my interview, the fear has set in.  My attorney is going with me, but she prepped me for an interview and I hope I don't freeze. I have a job and will obviously have to quit.  Anyway thank you all for being supportive of everyone.

I mean if my I485 filed under my marriage based app doesn't get put on hold, I'll have to stop working since they will invalidate my EAD card which I have now.

Unfortunately you still have a wait for the GC. Once the 360 is approved you have to wait for your case to get the local office and an interview to be scheduled. Check your local office processing times to see about how long that wait is.

On the 360 form is a place to get a EAD c31 based on the 360 approval. Many times people check that box even if they got a EAD c09 based on 485. USCIS can issue you EADs in different categories. You only need ONE EAD, so its been posted in this thread to send back the second EAD c31 explaining you already have a c09 EAD

The card issued update on the 360 is when an EAD c31 has been sent, and again that is only sent when 360 is approved. For whatever reason the EAD card being sent update shows up on the online system before the 360 was approved message. The 360 approved message should be displayed shortly.

@sandraj @FridayGirl@69 @username_taken Hi .. I gone through google search and found the link with below info...Is it true or just a possibility 😵😰😮?

https://www.avvo.com/legal-answers/my-i360-status-updated-to----a-new-card-is-being-p-3847228.html

"I-360 does not generate any card, if you filed I-485 together with the I-360, perhaps, it was processed without an interview, though usually, after the i-360 approval, the i-485 is transferred to the local office for the i-485 interview and only after the interview green card arrives. However, USCSI can waive the interview so if you read about the card being issued, your I-485 might have been adjudicated."

The information is not correct, those are some of the lawyers who have little knowledge about vawa. On the i_360 form there is a box to check if you want ead after vawa approval, you will get ead (c31) after vawa approval if you check yes.

Go to page 14, and take a look at number 12, that is what is written there, I am not sure if you are filling the right part, remember the form is used for many purposes so you are only supposed to fill part 10 which is the vawa part, when you go to part 10, on page 14, look at number 12, you will see were to request ead.
