Have someone traveled with AP in the last six months?

If yes, please, tell me if everything went well.

I am planning to travel with my AP for the first time and I am feeling insecure.

Thank you

Yes I did in January 2019 for 2weeks. it went well. They will lead you to a room with the same people who I guess also traveled with AP, while having security checks with your papers and all. It could last from 15 minutes to an hour or more. I was feeling insecure too but I had to fight it within myself.

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I've been searching for answers online but am still confused. When I checked my case status online, it says "my card was mailed to me". Does it refer to the EAD card? I filed the I-360, I-765 & I-485 applications concurrently in Sep. 2017. I got the receipt notices and completed the fingerprinting ages ago. I did not receive any status updates till recently. I've checked my mail numerous times in the past month, but,  nothing so far. I am trying to figure out if I-360 petition must be approved before they issue the EAD card? Alternatively, I've also read that some individuals got their GC without having to go through the interview process? Is this true? Any clarifications and advice you can offer would be very much appreciated!

Many thanks! Best of luck to everybody.

Yuppie! Your vawa was approved, your ead card in on its way. 5-12 days to get it in the mail.If you filed with lawyer he/she will get it and sent it to you shortly. Congratulations! 🎉

Hi,

My attorney mailed the docs sometime in late Aug 2017 and my receipt notice is from Sep 1st, 2017. After I got the receipt notices for 1-765, I-485 & I-360 and completed fingerprinting, there was no update either to my attorney or on the website. I just saw the updated status about a week ago. So, hopefully they are now processing up the applications from fall 2017. I don't think the timeline on the website is correct. According to the website, they are still processing cases from June 2017 and assuming 16-21 months for the estimated time range. Good Luck!

I have cases approved from September 2017 and all my cases filed in August 2017 were approved as well, their timeline is not reliable .

Folks I posted 3 times about something and I will post again. Many people here have my phone number but for God sake do not give my phone number for people looking for bono attorney,if they need to HIRE an attorney you can give mu phone number otherwise DO NOT GIVE MY PHONE NUMBER.Last weekend I got 3 phone calls and they wanted information about Vawa ,all information about Vawa I am providing here on VJ,please make sure the person you will give my phone needs to hire an attorney otherwise tell the person to join the VAWA thread and I will answer here the questions.

If you have an attorney please do not call me to answer your questions, post here as well.

I will not talk with your psychologist or with your family attorney.Yep I get a bunch of these requests per month.

Do not send me pm asking me about  timeline. I don’t like to ignore the questions that people send me but it became overwhelming all these things lately .Check the timeline in the USCIS website.

I WILL NOT REVIEW YOUR AFFIDAVIT if you have an attorney, period!!!

Hello everyone I just need clarification as I am confused. I even searched on Avvo.com and said that it doesn't matter if you file under c9 or c31. What is really the difference? I filed on my own as I don't have means to pay a lawyer. I filed under c31 category (i360, i765, i485, i131 altogether) and my ex husband is a US citizen. In my understanding in some of the threads under c31 I will wait until i360 is approved before I can get an EAD approved? Is this correct? Should I have filed under c9 to get EAD while pending i360?

Also I received prima facie, what are the public benefits I can avail? I could use some help as it is a real struggle :( Thank you all in advance.
