Guys be patient, only USCIS knows when they will process our I485. Believe me if anyone here knew when their I485 would be process, things would be much easier for all.  Everything is a process and unfortunely the process is taking longer for a lot of people.  My Vawa was approved on August 09, 2018. I got the medical letter on December. I can choose to be worrying about it, but I won’t because stressing will not make better or speed the process. Keep yourself busy and practice some self-care. 🙏

Same here my vawa was approved July 2018 and On August the local office received my I485 it's been 7 months now all i gotta do is to wait

I have quick question please .

Can someone give us professional answer please .

1-What is the reasons for Delay issue Ead Card ?

2-When USCIS didn't issue EAD card does it mean or a sign they put applicant already in  removal processing from the pervious 485 based on marriage case ?

3-When applicant in removal what will happen for 765  they will denied and they will issue denied notice including the reason for denied or they will not issue EAD card without issue denied notice if we are in removal processing ?

Thanks .

Just a quick question/explanation needed it from anybody that my gut know:

I360 approved 10/29/2018

I got EAD on 11/6/2018

I765 approved 2/22/2019 confising

I am waiting for I485 to get process

my field office is Chicago (13-33 months)

How long average to get my medical and interview?

Why another EAD?

How long before it expires should I request another EADextension if I don’t get my I485 adjudicated?

I will appreciate the advise, thank you much in advanced.

For my information .

Sometimes they will send you the interview notice without sending the courtesy letter for medical .

They don't have to send you courtesy letter before the interview notice but in same case they do it all it depend .

You should to request for renewal your EAD 5 months before it expired .

Hello my lovely VAWA thread! I'm back!

So my VAWA was approved March of 2018, and I had to wait to file my i-485.  We finally mailed it out the first week of January 2019 to the Vermont office (along with my ead renewal and fee waiver), and it has now been over 8 weeks and I have to receive a receipt, so I have no receipt number... which I desperately need to track my case and possibly begin a new expedite request once it's sent to my local office.

Anyone else seeing a delay in receipts being mailed out?  Is there an alternative to getting my receipt number?

Did you sent your package by certified mail with tracking number ?

If you don’t get it after 30 days you need to request it again.

I had same issue with my Noa’s I360 approval 10/29/2018 I didn’t not get it until 1/22/2019. It happens...

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

My lawyer filed for a U-Visa for me. Does that mean that my VAWA-based EAD will not be renewed and I have to stop working while waiting for deferred-action and U-Visa EAD?

AOS paperwork mailed 02/06/13

Text received 02/14/13

Check cleared 02/14/13

NOA1 received 02/19/13

Bio Notification 02/23/13

Walk-in bio 03/08/13

Happy Sunday everyone.

I just applied for my 3rd EAD. I received the receipt notice in the mail a few days later. The problem is I am unable to add the case number for tracking. I put the numbers in and nothing happens. Has anyone else experienced issues adding their case numbers? Also last August I applied for my AP separately and received it in January however, the case status has not been updated online. I'm wondering if my ability to add case number should be chalked up to the website being on the fritz.

My i360 was submitted in Oct '17, any approvals around that time yet?

I just wanted to say that since the incident with my estranged husband I've applied to school to keep me occupied and being an honor student has given me renewed purpose. I still have frequent break downs, crying, anxiety and depression. I tried going to a psychologist but only did one session as she was $75 per session and I did not have insurance plus I was stuck paying bills by myself. I found a job a few months ago and have insurance so I will see about going back as I am worried about my mental state. Sometimes life gets overwhelming and I feel like...I won't even say it because it hurts my mom to be all the way back home, hearing me cry on the phone and not be able to hold me in her comforting embrase. While I have AP, I am nervous to travel home and it affects me, I want to atleast wait on the Vawa approval before I take my chances. If anyone has traveled on AP in the you're free to encourage me based on your experiences...I need my mother.

Sorry for the long rant but I wish you guys all the best and hope we all find peace, love and fulfillment above all things.

Anyone here who recently got their i485 approved from San Francisco office ?

I had my i485 interview in Nov 2018 and the officer decided to put my case on additional review and since then there is no update. Any one in similar situation.

Thanks

Hi guys .

I have question please .

Can we go to interview with expired passport ?

I don’t think so, my lawyer told me to have it ready when my interview comes. You have to renew it before your interview.

You can do your interview with an expired passport if you have a valid State ID

There will always be no guarantee traveling with AP. Risky as they say. But I traveled with AP before vawa approval and it was smooth. I was also scared I won't be able to come back to US using AP.  For as long as you did not overstay, I think you will be fine. My opinion is always based on my experience.

Hey Sandra

One of the member here said they went to the AOS interview in NYC and the IO said they can"t put the I485 on hold because this office does not adjudicated vawa cases, that means it will it be automatically denied what can we do in these case for NYC applicants

It doesn’t make sense the information given by the IO .I had several cases in NYC they put on hold.
