please could you tell us the list of documents you submitted for your vawa application

This is the actual document I submitted to VSC. I treated this as my masterpiece for my next life after DV.  I proofread every document 10x for whatever time was left at night before sleep when all my obligations at the shelter are done and after I put my child to sleep. I asked for every help I could get to give me resources for housing, jobs and counseling. I haven't healed much. But I'm getting there. There will always be triggers by bullies at work and the memories of DV come back.

Hey everyone.

I received two BIOMETRIC appointments.

One for VAWA and one for I765 and I485.

Is this normal?

Should I call and see if I have to go in again or just go in and ask.

I applied for public benefits with PRIMA facie, but everything got denied. Help me.

Hi Everyone. I asked a question before regarding a pending I-485 via marriage.  Now USCIS will cancel your I-485 interview via marriage if you filled a VAWA. If I am wrong, please correct me.

On December 21, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC00000000. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Hi Everyone,

Hope You all are doing  fine. My special gratitude to Sandra , iwillsuvive and all other members of this forum  who helped me to take better decision through my process so far. I read through many posts to see if my situation is similar to anybody. I need some help  in this puzzling situation to take a wise decision.

I am F1 student. The EAD card ( category C09) under I-485 was sent to my mail in august 2018. My I-360 was received by USCIS in October 2018. USCIS sent me Prima Facie notice in November 2018. Now I am about to graduate in May 2019. I have been offered a job by a company recently. The company  is able to sponsor and apply for Green card or H1b for me if I have OPT-EAD. I am thinking about to apply for OPT-EAD

My questions are:

1. If I apply for OPT- EAD, would that affect my I-360?

2. or, What would be the best solution in this situation?

3. What kind of status I have right now ? Because I have now F1 status and also my I-360 is pending.

Thank you.

@sandra   Could you tell me what to do in this situation? am I able to apply for OPT-EAD without affecting my status ?

If I may ask, did you write a letter to your local office or they just canceled the interview? did you include the receipt notice when you filed Vawa?

Thanks

If you are called in for Bio, then go and do it. It's quite unfortunate that Texas doesn't accept prima facie for most benefits, I tried using it initially and everything got denied too in Texas.

Yes you should receive it within 1week or so, uscis now partner with SSA to issue SSN immediately after they issue EAD, their reason is to speed up the process of getting SSN. If you read the EAD form carefully you will see the information written on it.
