I saw this googling about 1485

The second cause for delay is on the USCIS side. We’ve seen a couple cases recently where USCIS sent the approval notice, but then failed to actually send the petition file to the NVC. In these situations the first thing you should do is contact USCIS customer service center (1-800-375-5283). In cases of extreme delay the next step could be contacting your congressional representative to ask them to contact USCIS.

I’m just throwing out this question if anyone knows. If your represented by a lawyer by way of G-28, is it that your local office gonna be where that lawyer practices???

I understood to be able to do that, your lawyer must notify USCIS but sometimes they don’t get the request on time, one of our followers had to fly to Atlanta for interview (I think), we are waiting to hear from him/her, I believe it was today. Hopefully we will know by tomorrow.

i believe she use to live in Atlanta before and the she moved to Pennsylvania before the interview was scheduled!Remeber on ur 1-485 it is said that you should give ur physical address and the lawyer address is for him to deal with immigration directly .Well i believe my lawyer won’t lie to me.I have been doing my biometrics at my local office so why then will i go and do my interview somewhere else??

@HolaBola31not sure but in my case I cancel my previous I485 and my 1130 got revoked because my ex- called immigration on me BUT I had already told USCIS about my new I369/vawa Packet so I read all this thread about previous pending I485 ... very confusing.

They can not deport you, you just have to continue with the new application and let USCIS because Service Centers don’t comunícate unless you submit the copy of previous applications in the new packet. I did it this way and so far I haven’t got any issues, I am currently waiting for my I485 to get adjudicated, I am about to email my lawyer because it has been almost 4 months now without notifications even though on today’s date it takes 4-6 months but still I will make an inquiry by end of the month. I hope this explanation helps.

stay strong!

Lol..you just replied me..you should repond to the person who asked a question..thanks!!!😂😂😂😂😂😕

Lol thanks @Zion girl for resounding the right information like I already mentioned earlier!!! Personally i think its okay to skip a question if people don't know the answer than to feed innocent people wrong answers!! Administrator take note please! Thanks again @Ziongirl.
