Thank you @FridayGirl@69 for replying. That is a really loonggg wait! Omg! Is it true that under VAWA, we can’t get approved with working permit unless the I-360 is approve first? I am so frustrated, I really want to get back to work.

According to @sandranj if you filed under I765 (C31) like mine you must wait until I360 is approved but not under I765 (C09) or (C14)... You must know under which category.

@Optimistic1986I hope this helps but yes! looongggg wait....

Thank you! Yes I am under C31. I was hoping that I-765 will be approved sooner but I guess I’m wrong. Is this the usual timeline for VAWA? This is unfair and frustrating.

Yes! This is usual time 😔

Hang tight in there... it will come soon besides that all goes silent until suddenly you get either approval or RFE (Request For Evidence)...once you get approved your I485 gets transfer to NVC (30/45 days) then it gets transfer to Local Office (30/45 days) more likely 4-6 months after I360 approval to get I485 Medical and Interview set according to others timeline.

I am shy my 4th month so I should be getting a notification soon 🙌🏼

USCIS is processing April-July 2017 applications now...Best Luck and Pray hard for a prompt response.

why the i485 put on hold be denied??  The reason is requested to put on hold is awaiting for 1360 approval...  you saying is denied anyways ?? please clarify because my i485 filled with my husband still pending and if the interview comes up before i360 approval I'm planning to put on hold, I know is the IO to make the decision...  put if they put on hold it shouldn't be denied

Guys, how does this I-485 is putting on a hold?

Thank you so much for your encouragement @FridayGirl@69. I have been praying for this since day 1. Please keep us posted whenever you receive updates in your case. This forum helps a lot to maintain our sanity during this difficult time. I hope that you will have your interview sooner and best of luck to you too! God bless us all here.

Any filers from April 2017? I applied in April 2017 and the only message I have been seeing is fee's waived.

You should make an Info Pass to ask about your case, they are processing April-July 2017 applications now... either you should be getting answer soon or to make sure ask your lawyer for an InfoPass, you can do it online yourself.

Hi dear i had seen your post earlier but noticed you specifically asked for those with 2018 timeline...hopefully the right person with 2018 timeline sees your post and put down the timeline..which will be more beneficial to you since you are a 2018 filer. The only thing i can tell you is that with vawa approval comes the work permit. You're still early in the wait..patience is key..we'll all arrive at the desired outcome okay..stay prayed up and if you have any concerns, we're all here for you. Cheers😊

Hi @Favoured Queen👑 thank you for your reply and encouragement. It felt like my hopes went into a nosedive. I thought my EAD would come sooner as it shows Vermont’s current processing time is at 9/18. It’s crushing me. I lost my job and couldn’t get a regular job. Did you go through the same process? Can you please share your timeline and experiences? I am new to this forum so I am gathering information and facts from VAWA filers. I truly appreciate this @FavouredQueen
