On my letter, they just say “RE: I-485” and the list of documents I need to bring with me, like other 797-C.

No direction to ask for any immigration officer.

I’ve seen some post here people went to the interview with G-56 and everything went well, just normal interview and all of them are approved, so I do hope everything will be alright with you and me, just be well prepared.

Btw, what’s your interview date? Mine set for Feb-28, we can share experiences after the interview then.

Mime they are asking me to bring almost all papers I had Ever in my life big list and Documents and what is very strange that they are Requesting who should come with you to interview it's says if your eligibility based on marriage your husband or your wife must comes with you .

Mine is going to be after yours exactly in 42 days from now .

Best Best lucky for you and all here .

Thanks a lot for this information .

Hey xoxo looks like you haven't talked to your attorney yet..I would get legal counsel to be 100% certain. There are so many information online but an attorney can definitely set the record straight.

I made appointment with my lawyer for tomorrow morning ..

Hope Everything will be okay .

Because It seems my letter for G56 little different than @Totoro letter .

Don't know why ??

If I were you..I would listen fervently to what the attorney has to say..everyone's situation is different..that's why the content of your letter is different from another...when your attorney has spoken then you know the true situation of things..I'll keep you in my prayers🙏 God always comes through😊 do let us know what the attorney says. Be at ease and stay safe dear.

Hi just curious..did you use an attorney? Thought the official document is supposed to be uniform...xoxo's content is a little different from yours...wow your interview is so close best wishes.

No, I don’t use attorney. I filed by myself.

797C is uniform, but G-56 is vary, I’ve seen tons of them.

That’s general letter with required documents for most of 485 interview. So only few of them that applied to your case. E.g: You dont need to bring i864, dont need to bring your spouse... just talk with your attorney for everything you need to bring with you to the interview. Good luck!

Are there people here that submitted more abuse evidence even if USCIS did not request it?

I did, and my 360 was approved. I put all new evidence together by myself including divorce papers. I also wrote a concise cover letter, added the blue paper that came with my prima facie , and brought to my lawyer’s office. My lawyer “approved” everything and sent the package  to Vermont. My lawyer never requested this extra evidence, and we will never know if my case would have been approved without. It took 16.5 months for approval.

But I think it's not everyone that received blue paper with prima facie? So it's shouldn't be a must for all.

It's sucks that approval has been slow or relatively not coming and it's pretty difficult to know the month they are approving. They need to declare state of emergency on this vawa. It's really getting too long and really discouraging. We pray for more strength to carry on. Happy Valentine's. Keep living your life and loving yourself. Your time and destiny will not elude you and I in the mighty name of almighty God. P E A C E S.
