I filed 360 on April 2017

Filed 485 on July 2017

360 approval on 1st of August 2018

485 transferred to NBC on Aug 29, 2018

485 transferred to local office on Dec 11, 2018 (no update on uscis case status, I went to InfoPass and officer told me my case was received at local office on that date)

g-56 interview notice received on Feb 09, 2019 (no update on uscis case status)

Interview scheduled for Feb 28.

My local office processing time for i-485 between 10.5 to 22 months (as shown on uscis website)

Thank you all for your praying and hope many approval soon!

You must gather all evidence possible and friend and family affidavits too

Hospita, Doctors,Therapist, your pictures from the time to date up to the time you left him/her, Birth Certificates (both), Bank Statements under both names, mortgage or rental contract, medical insurance, the copy of your abuser passport and ID or DL, etc... most importantly describe your abuse on the affidavit letter.

if you were marry before include the 1st marriage certificate too! All translated if the document are from another language.

Stay safe amd take care, we are here to give you support and guidance.

don't be scared, we all are but a better future awaits you! 🙌🏼

I have all of that already submitted. I just feel like my abuse evidence is not strong...

I want to know if I should submit more evidence.....

In answer to your question, no evidence is too little or too big..anything you can get please do, as it might go a long way in favour of your case. There are people here who didn't have a truck load of evidences that were approved and also some with seemingly lots of evidences that were issued RFE..all depends on the nature of yout case and the officer working on it. Be confident..give what you have..your case is unique..so is everyone's! Wish you all the best dear..if you have further concerns the house is here for you.😊

Are there people here that submitted more abuse evidence even if USCIS did not request it?

As Sandra mentioned here several times, once your 360 is approved, Vermont will ship your 485 to NBC after 30/45 days, your case will be at NBC for another 30/45 days (mine was there for more than 90 days) and then NBC will ship your case to your local office where you are living (your address on your 485 form) and your interview will be scheduled there.

Some people got update when their case transferred/received at local office, but I only received one update “Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction” since my 360 approval and the status keep the same until now, even when I already received interview notice.

We never know how long does it take to get the interview notice. So better keep praying and update your address with uscis if you move.

My experience with updating my address was painful. I did send 2 notarized letter to Vermont but none of them got response.

But finally, when my case is at local office. I was able to change my address by making an InfoPass and change the address there successfully!
