Hey everyone. I HAVE A CONCERN. PLEASE ADVICE ME. @sandranj

I filed VAWA 12/07/2018. I got prima facie.

I'm concerned because after reading many things about VAWA here and other places.... I feel like my evidence for abuse is not so strong.

I sent Hospital report that says I have a concussion, but I did not tell the hospital it was done by my abuser. I explained in affidavit that I was scared that's why I didn't tell them.

I sent two papers ( CARE SUMMARIES ) from my psychiatrist and counselor.. It is NOT a detailed psychological evaluation though.

It just says I have been abused and that I have depression and anxiety.

My question:

Should I do the psychological evaluation and send it? Or just wait from USCIS.

Will they RFE me? or are they not doing that anymore?

I'm scared that It will get denied....

You must gather all evidence possible and friend and family affidavits too

Hospita, Doctors,Therapist, your pictures from the time to date up to the time you left him/her, Birth Certificates (both), Bank Statements under both names, mortgage or rental contract, medical insurance, the copy of your abuser passport and ID or DL, etc... most importantly describe your abuse on the affidavit letter.

if you were marry before include the 1st marriage certificate too! All translated if the document are from another language.

Stay safe amd take care, we are here to give you support and guidance.

don't be scared, we all are but a better future awaits you! 🙌🏼

Hi Sandra

Hi Everyone ,

Please I need help .

I am so Anxious now .

I Received letter from USCIS local office form G-56 they asking me to meet with immigration services officer .

It's says the reason for Appointment is I 485 Application to Adjust status !!

What's is that mean ?

What is form G -56 ?

What will happen in this appointment ?

Please I need help .

I think you have nothing to worry about. I’ve done some research and it’s likely normal interview notice for your 485, scheduled by local office.

I received this kind of form few days ago, also about my interview is scheduled by the end of this month at local office.

See attached file for more information.

Stay strong and be positive!

In answer to your question, no evidence is too little or too big..anything you can get please do, as it might go a long way in favour of your case. There are people here who didn't have a truck load of evidences that were approved and also some with seemingly lots of evidences that were issued RFE..all depends on the nature of yout case and the officer working on it. Be confident..give what you have..your case is unique..so is everyone's! Wish you all the best dear..if you have further concerns the house is here for you.😊

Hi dear, rest assured you have not being ignored..we are hoping the attorney @sandranj stumbles into this and gives her proffessional diagnosis as usual. However judging from your narrative, you did suffer abuse and seem to have most of the documentation needed to file for Vawa. It's always worth it to have a legal representation even though a lot of folks here emerge victorious without one..apparently our cases are different so please patiently await sandra's proffessional opinion. Keep gathering evidence you can never have too much in cases like this. Best of luck. Stay safe.😊

Thank you very much! I will wait advice from @sandranj and will hope that this is will be enough  to prove that he really was so much emotionally abusive.
