Hi,I have a question.I just checked my status on i485 and it said it was transferred to my local office.I’m in California. How long does it take to get a notice? Also,my card on i360 was mailed since 11/20/18 and I’ve not received it.Does anyone know how to track the card or get the tracking number?

@Aburi2018 Congratulations on your approval!! God is great!!!

I'm not sure how to track your card, but rest assured, it will arrive, do you have an attorney? Maybe they sent it to your attorney's office.

In order to get a timeline for your I485 interview check https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ and put in your state, that will give you a timeline for your interview.

Congratulations again!!! 🙂

If you never filed category C9 then you have to pay the USCIS fee, if you can't afford then file form I-912 to waive the fees.

We send all together (i360,i765 ans AOS) with money order $1225. So as the i765 was on the category c31. Can we send another form with the right c09 with a letter without pay again?

Hello all,

I spent the last 4 hours reading this forum.

So happy to see many successful cases! This gives me a boost of positivity. Exactly what I need right now.

I filed my application just 15 days ago and I received 6 days after the receipt notice.

Since I applied I'm having several panic attacks. I can't bearly eat or function normally. I've been out of my country for the past 4 and a half years and after everything that happened, I don't know how I will be able to survive for other 18/24 months without my family and friends support. My lawyer told me that I will receive my EDA and travel permit in 90/180 days. I'd love to know your opinion on this based on everybody experience. Also, should I feel comfortable to go back to my country before I receive any approval notice (please God!) or deny notice?

I'm really scared even because the last thing that my husband said to me was that he will do everything possible to destroyed my future. This happened 2 years ago. I moved and I discovered VAWA several months later. Is there anything he could do to interfere in my immigration course?  I'm sad I had to throw this feeling out in this form but I believe nobody can understand my feelings as you do.

Thank you in advance!

Is it good to contact my local congressman to help me with my ead delay. Its currently out of processing times and I want to be able to pay for my school. 😞  in  1 month I would go into my second semester of nursing school, and its very expensive 😟

You can file for an expedite based on financial difficulty. A congressperson can help you or you can do it on your own.

@Ylx The same thing happened with me and my attorney refiled the I765 with C09 category and fees were waived.

@Vale1 Welcome!!

The whole process can be very nerve wrecking, but by God's grace we will prevail.

I understand your need to travel to see friends and family, but in my opinion, please do not take that type of risk without having a green card in your hands as the immigration laws are constantly changing like the weather. Some people are lucky to travel and be allowed back in, but you cannot compare your situation to someone else' situation as everyone's situation is different, and also it depends on the immigration officer at the point of entry when you are coming back in, if they say no, you can't come back in, then it creates a bigger problem. Again, I understand the need to see family, I'm all alone here with my children and God, no siblings or relatives here at all, but it's safer for me to wait to get my GC before traveling as I cannot risk not being allowed back in to be with my children, my children are my most important family members.

The ultimate decision lies with you, and I wish you blessings 🙂

Thank you @Gogetter18...To waived the fee was becauae you already paid when was filed at the beginning or you submmit the form for that (i912)?. Because the first time my fee waiver was denied, so i pay  $1225.. And really i cant affor pay another $400 just because my lawyer mess up

It was waived because I already paid the first time. I don't think you have to pay again.

UPDATE

This morning I had a little scare. My GC delivery was delayed by the declaration of Wednesday as a federal holiday/day of mourning. However, this morning I checked on the tracking number and the status said: "Forward Expired" obviously the person who lived there before had a forwarding and it expired today. I had to call the post office and then ask them to hold it. They were about to return it by mistake thinking I had moved. I was so pissed. Fortunately, I was able to collect it before they returned. Today for the first time the USCIS case status updated for the first time since Feb 2017.

On December 8, 2018, the Post Office reported that they are returning your new card for Receipt Number MSC**************, to us. We mailed your card to the address you gave us, but the Post Office could not deliver it. The tracking number assigned is 9*************************. You can use your tracking number at www.USPS.com in the Quick Tools Tracking section. Please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we resend the card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

They haven't gotten the memo yet :) I already collected it. Thankfully, today my GC journey officially ended. Next step 3 years from now I will hopefully go for citizenship, to everyone still waiting, hang in there, I hope that more good news keeps coming for each and every VJ member. I also hope that those persons whose cases are within processing time get a wonderful Christmas present in the form of an approval.

Whooopppe congratulation.....enjoy home for both of us....i know u must be super happy 🤗🤗🤗
