@MGJ_NY Oh my word!! That is way out of processing time!! They're already working on September 17, 2018!!! I don't know what to advice at this point except to be patient please, they can't hold on to the EADs forever, hopefully you receive it before the end of this month.

I really do hope so. But im also worried that it’s taking too long it’s because it was sent to NBC by my lawyer😣

Have you filed it to VSC

I filed mine in july but to NBC because of my attorney.

I wanted to file it to VSC coz i have been searching and reading this precious advice specified on VAWA on this forum.

However my immigration attorney who is not specifically working on VAWA cases of course insisted that we have to file to NBC since it is under “pending 485” section which kinda made sense, plus she is an ATTORNEY!! In her office. So what can I do? Not even paying a penny. Let her do her job and today I still have no EAD

So I got an advice from this forum to refile it to Vermont this time,

she asked me to do infopass instead of filing it again.

I tried to get it every midnight. No can do. So I just told her that USCIS CUstomer service guy told me that refiling will be faster than waiting exsisting one to be transferred.

my attorney and I filed renewal last week to VSC this time.

I also requested for outside normal processing time thingy.

They confirmed the request with all that conf. Number? And said i can expect reply by jan.31.

I still havent got any of email or text message.

I hope VSC can just start all over and send the new receipt number.

Wow! Same here, also sent to NBC. Maybe that’s why it’s taking so long. I got scheduled for an info pass when I called USCIS and they couldn’t give out info about my case, so the officer told me that they can schedule me for one. They called me again after a few hours and gave me an appointment for the following week. So I guess it’s better to call to schedule an infopass rather than doing it online.

Yes, i got that confirmation number for the SR.

Shouldn’t just filed for a new one from all the months we spent waiting 😓

I’ve been really trying to be patient and staying positive that i still have the 180 day extension. Hope you get yours faster! 🙏

Amen dear..quick question..did you file to Vermont? You heard from Elena that filing at the wrong destination can trigger unnecessary delay..I am very vocal when I need to be and had this argument with my attorney who insisted it's not Vermont..I refuse to be intimidated but I let her file where she deemed right but I might end up not needing it..it's the only reason I kept mute. If it were my only source I will teach her a lesson.😂😂😂

When you first sent it out to NBC did you get any receipt notice? It doesn't add up to receive a receipt notice if they won't be working on it anyway..so I'm guessing you haven't gotten any correspondence whatsover😕

I actually did get a receipt notice and also another notice that they were going to use my previous biometrics, and online, it says that they have completed a review of my fingerprints. Maybe I should just do another infopass?

@MGJ_NY I filed for EAD renewal c9 end of Aug 2018. My lawyer also made the mistake to send it to Chicago... got the NOA right away and then the notice they used my fingerprints on file. —Radio silence after that.

In the meantime, my 360 got approved (yay, celebrating until today and forever!), so I received the c31. But still waiting for the c9. It’s indeed taking a awhile.

We should probably ask if there has been success from anyone in the Co9 category who filed through NBC and gotten EAD. So we know if it's a futile attempt we're embarking on or not. 😲
