@FridayGirl@69 Update. Paralegal received NOA Approval Notice for I-765 today. The card will be Category C14 and C14 also has the deferred action on as well. For information and reference.

Hi yes, I emailed my lawyer to advise him that I will be attending my interview next week. I’m trying to get all the docs together and quickly do my medical.

Everything I keep reading says it's expired. I wish someone could explain what they mean by successful? They received a receipt notice, so that means it's okay to file? so confused.

Actually I just found this information online, thank God, that gives me more details. 

VAWA funding is not in danger in the long term. Federal discretionary funding goes through two processes: authorization and appropriation. When Congress authorizes a program, it gives the Appropriation Committee permission to fund the program. The Appropriations Committees decide how much money a program actually gets. Appropriators frequently fund unauthorized programs – VAWA was unauthorized between 2010 and 2013 and was still funded. Only grant programs need to be authorized; the rest of VAWA never “expires.”

Succesful here may seem ambiguous but i believe the term simply means in that context that it went through. My advice would be to file now before something unfavorable comes up..you never know with this govt. If you have your documents in order please file as soon as possible.

Thank you dear. I already have and have my notice.  Thank you again to you and everyone for supporting everyone. We vent and ask questions and everyone seems so kind and patient. I read all the posts just to keep faith and gain information. Now I'm praying I get a Prima Facie.

Wow good to know you already filed. Some people get prima facie some don't..depends on the officer handling your case. This doesn't mean anything..i know many folks who went straight from filing to approval..no prima facie nothing..it's good to have prima facie..but it's not a bad thing not to have it as well. Cheers😊
