Look for Social Services Organizations like  Catholic Charities, Jewish Centers, etc...all SSO help people in need at low cost. I go to one here in Illinois area regardless if you are part of their Congregation.

Wow thanks will check them out today and book an appointment. So grateful. Thanks again.

It’s for the I-765. I didn’t send in any renewal because I had just gotten the EAD but under the I-360. Lol

Hi everyone, I am newbie here. I have been going through vawa route.  I didn’t even know this kind of forum was exist.

I filed in December 2016. My attorney filed first step for vawa.( I dont know the form names I have to look it up later). Basically the form we submit was that the immigration was going to ask the evidences.  They asked the evidences. He submitted them all. Then my case was denied because of missing some proof. Proof they were asking was my “criminal history” from my country. Then I got them all from my country. Then he submitted again my criminal history from my country.( I think it is called appealing or reconsideration) on end of December 2018.

My work authorization will be ending 15th of February. He submitted my work authorization last year. And it came 2018 February. The fees were waived I explained my situation to the attorney.

So far I paid total 6000$ and plus appealing was 675$.

But this year to renew my employment he wants to charge 2000$ and 1022$ for filing fee.

so I have 3 questions if you can help me, I would be really appriciate it.

1-)  should I pay 3000$ for work authorization?

2-) How long does it take the appealing process?

3-) Does firing this attorney and finding another make any difference,  if so who? I am in Arizona.

I am really hopeless right now. Please share your opinions. Thanks in advance.

Before someone more knowledgeable in this matter steps in, I would like to point out that aside the fact that your lawyer doesn't know what he's doing, he is taking advantage of you financially! I don't need skills to see this much is true!! You should fire him! ASAP! @sandra please come to the rescue! Thanks.
