AOS status changed to 'Interview Was Scheduled' yesterday (June 7). NOA date is Dec 12. Chicago field office. I've seen a few other Chicago December filers having their interview scheduled, just adding to the datapoints. Also curious if @Lebanese23 got their interview date as yet.

I got the interview letter today. It’s july 10

Hi! It’s been 15 days since my interview in Baltimore too and honestly these are the worst couple of weeks of the entire waiting for me. I hate that our FO has to be different from almost all other offices in the US and I hate being so close and yet so far!

EAD day 169 so I am not even expecting to receive that anytime soon!

Not sure what's up with Baltimore.  A friend's husband had his interview March 25th and they are still waiting for a decision!

I had my AOS interview on Thursday June 6. We began about half an hour after our scheduled appointment, but it was very smooth and easy. Our IO was super friendly and in a great mood. He asked for us to both confirm details about our names, DOB, citizenship, employment, etc. Went through some of the questions that were on my paperwork, again just confirming answers. We gave him photos (including a wedding album), copies of joint accounts, medical documents, etc.

The only "personal" question he asked us was, "What's something your husband does that annoys you?" Seriously! Didn't ask us how we met, how long we'd been dating, what our wedding was like, who sleeps on what side of the bed... Nothing like that at all! And then he asked my husband the same thing.

Since our interview went well, our lawyer asked the IO if it would be possible to process me immediately, as my little brother was getting married in Canada two days later-- and he said yes! He sent us back into the waiting room for ten minutes, then gave me a letter authorizing the passport stamp to give to an officer downstairs.

My card has been mailed now and the tracking number says it's set to be delivered on Thursday, exactly a week after my interview. Very happy with this result, it went as smoothly as it possibly could have.

Yes. Terminated once you are officially approved for the GC.

I've seen cases where ppl have had their interview and have not been approved right away/for a long time. The Combo Card continued to process and some received while waiting for final approval for the GC after the interview.

Depending on your LFO you might not get approved for the GC right away after the interview. I've heard of ppl waiting 120 to 180 days. In that case your Combo would continue to process after the interview as you were not officially approved for the GC so you could at least get your EAD while waiting for the GC after the interview.
