Hello everybody,

I am new here, sorry to just jump right in here but my wife and I are also in the December filing club, I guess.

I was looking to find some answers regarding processing times for the EAD, seems like we are all in the same boat (6.5-8.5)

My wife and I filed on December 13th and everything went smooth, 7 days for the NOA1 and then right around a month for the NOA2 and Biometrics.

My status for the I-485 changed about 48 days ago to "Case ready to be scheduled for interview".

The biggest problem we are facing right now is the EAD, I already had a I-765 from my F1 student Visa but this one just takes quite a while, and it's about time for me to get back to work. My employer is not super happy, everyday I am home I'll cost the company more money when I get back, we are on a timer essentially.

We applied for the I-765 with the I-131 is that the combo card?

If so can I expect longer waiting times for my EAD to be approved?

Kind Regards,

Michael

Congratulations! That was quick.

Its been two weeks and 2 days after my AOS interview and my status has remained “Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed “.

I think Baltimore is quite slow with the GC processing. A friend had her AOS interview since January and up on till this day she is yet to receive her GC. Although she has her EAD.

My EAD is at 178 days ago.

I am so sorry to heard/read that. I hope everything goes well and sooner you will get good news.

We were approved on the spot and the officer said that we should expect the GC within 30 days. I’m so glad that it come in 7 days.

Hi! It’s been 15 days since my interview in Baltimore too and honestly these are the worst couple of weeks of the entire waiting for me. I hate that our FO has to be different from almost all other offices in the US and I hate being so close and yet so far!

EAD day 169 so I am not even expecting to receive that anytime soon!

Thank you for your response.

My employer is offering to do anything it takes. They are unfamiliar with this process the same way I am.

What should this letter contain and how do I go about it once I have the letter?

Just call USCIS?

I am sorry for not really understanding this whole process, this is why I a here for to get answers and learn ;)

Thank you again

Had our AOS Interview 05/30/2019,the process was very smooth and painless. The IO was super nice, it felt more like a conversation than interview. She asked us for some pictures which we provided, we had more than 30 pictures of us, us with family and with family friends. She went through all of them and she kept them and put them in our file.

Like a lot of people who have had their interview have said already, if you guys are truly married and live together then the interview will be very smooth.

Today 06/01/2019, we received a text message stating  that our case was approved.

Good luck to all who are still waiting for their interviews.

Received Green Card in the Mail exactly one week after case was approved. Now some breathing time for at least 2 years, Good Luck everyone.

My interview was scheduled today. kinda shocking knowing my office is a slow one. I'm starting to get nervous as I will have to start working on putting together all the paperwork. If anyone can give me pointers or list of things they asked about, other than wedding pics. Anything is helpful. Much Appreciated.....as I wait for the instructions in the mail. Thanks!

AOS status changed to 'Interview Was Scheduled' yesterday (June 7). NOA date is Dec 12. Chicago field office. I've seen a few other Chicago December filers having their interview scheduled, just adding to the datapoints. Also curious if @Lebanese23 got their interview date as yet.

I just patiently waiting, thats all. I am not depressed about it, it will happen eventually. I have better stuff to do than checking my status everyday and worrying about stuff I have no control over.
