where do you see that info?? on the website it says 9-32 months, not very accurate. but yeah Chicago is very backed up. I will wait for the letter in the mail to really know the actual date.

Thanks so much! I actually received that exact wording today but it was in response to the AP request. The EAD request was the one where I got the reply on Friday, so now I'm not sure whether they're declining both or whether the EAD is still under review...hopefully my congressman's office representative will be able to get more details.

Any updates yet? I'm actually tempted to do the same now. losing hope.... :(

Hi guys! Would anyone know what the next status for EAD/AP would be after Case Was Received? It seems like some EAD/AP had status that say Fingerprint Fee Received, but ours never changed even if my husband already had his biometrics done.

just waiting game now, nothing is required from you.

Some people see "Fingerprint review was completed."

Some jump straight to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview." (that's what happened for us)

Some just don't get updates online, because USCIS web sites are random.

Sometimes it wont change to "Fingerprints etc".

Common statuses for EAD are

Fingerprint fee received.

Fingerprint review was complete.

Case was updated to show all fingerprints were taken and case is in process.

Case was approved.

New card being produced.

Card was mailed.

Card was picked up by USPS.

Card was delivered to me by Post Office.

In no particular order.

Thanks! Should I be worried that ours is still "Case Was Received?" Our I-485 is now "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview" after biometrics and sending RFE, but EAD/AP does not seem to be moving..

This is for I485 though^^^^

Right. Anastasia's I-485 status updated (on the old site / Case Tracker app; I couldn't get the new site to accept her AOS/EAD/AP case #s), but her EAD & AP status haven't. Given how EAD/AP timelines are looking and how San Diego filed office timelines are looking, I'm expecting her interview to be before she gets a combo card, though it could be close.

No. Currently EAD is taking 6.5 to 8.5 months and AP is taking 6 to 8 months and you'll have to wait for the longer of the two to get the Combo Card.

You are still way within normal processing times of both.

Interview experience

We had our interview today. We were interviewed 1,5 late.

Means Questions:

1. Name (since I have 4 names, the officer have asked twice my name to my husband. He was used to say first and last name. However, the officer say: “ are you that it’s his name?”

2. Date of birth

3. City of birth

4. Where does the parents live?

5. Have we meet each other parents?

6. Where have we traveled together?

7. What do we do to live?

(Those question were asked to me about him and Vice-verse).

8. “Yes” and “no” questions.

The interview was smooth. And at the end, the officer explained about the “2 years green card” and when should we filed for the “10 years green card”. He didn’t say that “we were approved”, however he said that “green card will arrived within 30 days”z

 Time line:

case received on December 21, 2018.

biometric done on January 17, 2019.

“Case is ready to be scheduled interview” on April 17, 2019

Interview was scheduled” on April 23, 2019.

Interview on May 30, 2019.

Tampa, Fl - Office.

Today, exactly one week after the interview, I got my green card.

thank all you for sharing with me information.

Now, it’s time to get break form USCIS and in 2021 start again.

Good luck for everyone!

Congratulations! That was quick.

Its been two weeks and 2 days after my AOS interview and my status has remained “Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed “.

I think Baltimore is quite slow with the GC processing. A friend had her AOS interview since January and up on till this day she is yet to receive her GC. Although she has her EAD.

My EAD is at 178 days ago.
