So as you all know my interview is on Tuesday May 21 and I think I have everything ready but I’m still so nervous. I have Bank statements, Joint prime account, Costco membership, joint lease agreement, receipts for things we bought on our trips, wedding album with other photos. 

Question. Should my lease agreement be stamped by a JP?

I had my interview on May 1st at Detroit field Office without any joint account or Joint lease and still approved.

I just bring 2018 tax return and Insurance benefit confirmation. Both document stated me as dependent of my husband, also i bring ID card from my husband company (as company family member).

About wedding picture, we just printed it on paper,not the whole wedding album.

I also print some screen capture from our social media that show our relations.

Interview scheduled for today at one in NYC for the Queens office but the below notice popped up this morning.

 

i am freaking out but still will go to the interview. I really hope there was a mistake.

 

Has this happened to anyone else before?

We went to at the scheduled time and all interviews after 12 PM were rescheduled for July 1st. Apparently the building is going to have an evacuation drill. That was nice of them to notify us about that, I wasted a vacation day.

Got news today that my EAD card is being produced!!! Anyone knows how long does it take to get it in the mail?

Congratulations!! I think its around 5-7 days from the date it's approved (i may be wrong but that's what most people on VJ have reported)

So guys, I feel that I am stuck in limbo. I don't know what is happening. Today is day 99 since I submitted my RFIE response to USCIS and they have not make any decision on my case yet. 

 

 

 

I called USCIS and spoke with a T1 on May 7. It was a nice Kady who assisted me to put in an inquiry and told me to call back after 30 days if I don't get any update on my case. But I feel worst and more angry when I find out that some March and April filers are getting their interview scheduled. 

 

 

 

My question is should I call again and request to speak with a T2 person or should I wait to call after 30 days. I am more than frustrated.

Biose processing times are 11 to 22.5 months for I485.

It's quite possible that the March/April ppl are at LFOs that process in 4 months? They likely cant compare unless they are at your same LFO.

My LFO is 11 to 18 and I just got an interview notice last week and I'm an October filer. 

Likely if you call, they will tell you to wait the 3O days but you can try. Do note that USCIS agents generally cannot answer specifics on RFEs.

I think my case is still with NBC. I responded to the RFIE and since February 12,i have not received any update which is kind of frustrating to me

What was the RFIE concerning? Something simple or the I864?

It could be that the RFIE has been satisfied and you just havent received notification on it? Status updates sometimes never come. I'm not sure either way if anyone or any status update will confirm where your application is at so I would not trust too much in them.

My RFIE was about my sponsor's tax return and w2 which affected my affidavit of support form. So we prepared a new form of the I864 and added my sponsor's tax return and w2.

Like I said, you could try and call and speak to a Tier 2 however a T2 cannot offer specific information on RFEs or their process. They will not have information on that. All they'll be able to tell you is if its going to be moving forward or not when it moves forward and you will have access to that as well by checking your status update.
