Hope its something very small and easy to fix ;) but yes, at least it shows they actually looked at your papers.

my pd is December 5th and nothing changed since bio, meh...

Thanks! Us as well. I am unsure what it could be,  hoping it's as easy as an error on the affidavit of support that we can quickly fix.

Also I looked back and noticed my NOA for i485 was actually December 3rd (I'm on mobile and it's not letting me edit my original post), so hopefully you hear from them soon! 🙂

Hello,

I have a question:

- what do you carry around in terms of ID to demonstrate your legal status when you go around?

I don't mean domestic flights, because of course you have carry your passport and I guess it is safe to carry Marriage certificate and NOA1 of AoS?

I don't have EAD/AP yet and right now I am only carrying my Washington DL when I go around (no flights). Is this enough?

Soon I will be going to Utah and Idaho (by car). Should I carry my passport, MC and NOA1 just in case?

I always carry my passport whenever I go out. Your passport and a copy of NOA1 should be enough. Your passport will serve as your ID

Hi!

Just curious.

SO, I have been changing all my documentation to my new last name. All that's left is my US passport. It's good for another 7 years!!😒😫

I plan on travelling back to DR in December, so I need to get to that ASAP. But my question is, do I REALLY have to change my passport to my new married name? Like, would I be stopped or something? I know they want everything to be accurate and all, but since it's still good for a whole 7 years, it's annoying I have to spend another $110 to get a new one. If I have to I will.

Any experiences using your maiden name passport while travelling abroad? Thankss

Reposting from another thread: We filed AOS on December 8, 2018.  We heard from USCIS that an interview had been scheduled, but they didn't give us a date or time!  Very confusing.  Should we call our local field office?

June 2016: We started writing to each other

June-July 2017: Met in person in the US for our first anniversary

December 2017 - January 2018: Met again in the US and got engaged

01/09/2018: I-129F sent to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox via FedEx

01/16/2018: Received NOA1 (NOA1 notice date: 01/11/2018)

June-July 2018: Met in person in Singapore and Australia for our second anniversary

08/03/2018: Notice date on our NOA2 (updated in USCIS's new website on August 6)

08/15/2018: Our case reached NVC

08/22/2018: Received NVC case number

09/04/2018: Our package left NVC (arrived 9/11, and she sent packet 3 that day)

09/20/2018: Received packet 4; scheduled interview

10/30/2018: Interview - told that we're approved!  Now waiting to receive the visa...
11/27/2018: Port of Entry at BWI

12/1/2018: Our wedding!

12/8/2018: Filed AoS on the way to our honeymoon (12/8-15/2018)
6/~7/2019: EAD and AP approved
09/25/2019: AOS interview in Orlando -- approval and green card!

Next step, June 2019: Filing I-751

Note: My wife is a Singaporean.  She moved to Australia before we met and got permanent residency there.

How many days since you received the notification?

You gotta wait for the interview notice to come in the mail before panicking....

From egov.uscis.gov?

MyUSCIS.gov?

You called them to get the notification?

Did you move?

Not update your address?

Update it but they didnt update it?

Possibly got lost in the mail/undelivered by USPS. Have you gone to your post office to confirm the person's name is listed at your address so they will deliver?

You should call USCIS if it's been over 30 days.

You still haven’t received the interview notice?? That’s weird. I got my notification on April 11 that I was scheduled for interview and exactly 8 days after I receive the interview letter. My interview is scheduled for May 21 and by what you’re saying you’re is around that time. Call USCIS

It was online at egov.uscis.gov.  We were living at a different address last year when we filed the I-129F.  We filed the AOS package from our current address.  When we filed, I was told on this forum to not worry with filing a formal change of address with USCIS (we did that with the post office of course), just to put our current address on all of the AOS forms.  We got our AOS NOA at our current address without any problems.

Might be a USPS issue then. Sometimes mail from USCIS comes address "in care of" and then the applicant's father's name is listed first. I know that's weird but they do that to distinguish between applicants that have the same first, middle and last name at the same Local Field Office so they don't confuse themselves at USCIS.

I give him a call right away though and find out if it's been sent. If it was sent already and not received, ask who it was addressed to and add that name to residents who live at your address at your local PO in case it was addressed to an "in care of".

Call right away. Your interview could be next week.

Hi guys!

Are here people from Chicago?

Have you already received any updates on EAD or GC?

All K1 AOS applicants EAD and AP are processed at the NBC in Missouri regardless of where you live. Current processing time is between 5 to 7 months.
