Hi everyone,

I just got my two years Greencard yesterday, and we'd like to share our steps with you, hope this would give you some reference or maybe help.
We've been getting help from Visa Journey and December 2018 AOS Filers thread since we started our journey, thanks very much.

Dec 08 - Submitted AOS
Jan 11 - Biometrics
March 21 - Notice of Interview was Scheduled
Apr 25 - Interview
Apr 30 - Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service
May 1 - Received GreenCard.

The interview was about 40 - 45 minutes.
The USCIS officer was really nice to us.
The questions part would not be a problem as long as you and your husband/wife live together, and you are real. So don't worry.
The most important thing is to bring evidence to prove you live together as much as you can.
In the end, we were told to go back and wait for the notice. We didn't know that we got approved, or REF, or something else.
We came back, and started tracking our case number and USPS mail tracking number till we actually got the GreenCard.

Best wishes to everyone, and Good Luck.

Let it be known I am also one of the Dec filers whose case status still says "We received your fingerprint fee". I went for prints at the start of January. (We were originally scheduled for prints on Dec 24th and made the 3hr drive to Yakima, WA to find it closed.. Merry Christmas right?)

The wait for EAD is excruciatingly tiring.

On the other hand, our yard looks pretty nice and kept. 😁

This morning we booked a six-night stay in an Airbnb for my inlaws and other family members to stay the week of our wedding celebration in Canada. Feeling increasingly anxious as more and more people are spending tons of money to book flights and hotels but we can't book our flights yet because we are waitinggggggg. VERY glad that we left 8+ months "just in case the EAD/AP takes double the expected time." Really hoping we all get put out of our misery ASAP.

Still waiting on my stepson's.  His online status for AOS/EAD/AP still says "Case Received" on December 27.  He had biometrics on February 5, but the online status never updated.  Even though he is still within normal processing times (but passed Visajourney's estimate), I decided to call USCIS this morning.  The automated message still says case received, but the agent I spoke to said the status actually shows that his biometrics were reviewed and approved.   So, a little closer to an EAD/AP than I thought, but who knows when it will actually arrive!

I have my AOS interview 2 days ago (may 1st)  at detroit field office and its approved. The officer say my GC will be arrive about 14 days (maximum).

around midnight i check my online AOs status is "new card is being produced".

But Yesterday i got 2 letter of I-797  say that my EAD and AP was approved. But its only letter without the EAD card. Then i check online status for EAD is "card is mailed to me" and "case was receive" for my AP. bit confusing.

You will receive the Noa2s for the EAD/AP before the actual card. The card takes 1 to 2 weeks from "case approved" or "new card being produced".

Your Combo Card will be useless once you get your GC.

I just got a notice saying my case was ready to be scheduled for an interview, with no movement on the AP/EAD side.

If I get scheduled for my interview first, do I get taken out of line for an AP/EAD? I really wanted to be at my brother's wedding in Canada the first weekend of June; it looks highly unlikely for me if so.

Your EAD and AP will continue to process until either it is approved or you get interviewed and approved for the GC, which ever comes first.

Hi

I received a letter today from USCIS  that my application is approved but it is written  the following “prior to receiving your permanent card you may be required to report for biometrics processing (photo/fingerprint/signature)”

Don’t really understand because when I had the interview the agent took my photo, fingerprint, signature.

and on the website of USCIS it is said that my card is being produced

Is someone received the same letter of approval from USCIS ?
