Just curious how long after getting the NOA1 does it take until it is time for the biometrics appointment?

Hello everyone! We sent our package November 24, but today we found out that our application had been rejected.. They are sending it back to us with explanations on what we have to fix to send it again. Very disappointed since I triple-checked everything. I won't know what we did wrong until we get the letter in the mail.

I hope it's something simple and we can re-file in December. Good luck to everyone else waiting for their NOA1! I hope your journey is smooth.

If they reject it so quickly, usually it's either incorrect fee or you forgot to sign something. hope it's that simple.

I think it might be a form you forgot to sign. My first application was rejected because the check bounced and it was saying "Case was rejected for insufficient funds".

But It should be an easy fix if they didn't put a mess in your paperwork like they did for me. My rejection came 43 days after filling, so it's a little bit different.

I've heard that they mess up your papers when they return it to you. Did you re-print and re-assemble everything? Or did you just write a new check and send the package back as it was?

It was a mess they attached all the documents together and there was something printed at the bottom of every page, so I had to reprint everything. But I don't know if they scanned your documents already or if they first check and noticed a mistake before messing up your documents. Keep us posted!
