Hi guys, I've been a silent follower and observing everyone's contribution and learning from it. Thanks to @K1visaHopeful for your vast knowledge in this process.

16 days ago my status for AOS changed to "Case ready to be scheduled" and today my status changed to "interview was scheduled". This is not expedited and I am as surprised as everyone else.

My EAD is still on day 127. I did not apply for AP.

Anyone from Baltimore LFO?

Heeey!!! Yes, I’m from Baltimore☺️

My status has changed to “Interview was scheduled” today as well.

Congratulations! Was your EAD ever approved?

Nope. Neither EAD nor AP🤷🏼‍♀️

Wow, I wonder why they bill people for EAD/AOS and still don't issue EAD before AOS interview. Shouldn't we get a "subtraction refund" for not being issued an EAD before AOS ?😋🤣

I am on day 128 for EAD and the status hasn't changed from "Case received".

But ead and ap will have their fees waived if you’re filing with aos or with a pending aos. So you didn’t really spend anything to apply for them and having the green card before them is so much better anyways

I know, I was just kidding. The benefits of a GC outweighs whatever EAD would have availed me.

Hello, just a question, my status for EAD and AP changed to "case was approved" from "new card being produced"  - does this mean they are going to send it to the mail?

based on the comments here in VJ, i thought it would change to "new card being sent to mail"

The "Case Approved" status is a weird one. It should go (according to my research through scans of the I765):

New card being produced.

Card was mailed to me.

Card picked up by USPS.

Card delivered to me by the post office.

And then finally Case Approved for some weird reason.

I think somebody(s) is just new.

This update is actually from the old site. The new site still says card being produced for my EAD and no update for AP.

Hmm...I hope this is not a problem or mistake. That's why I asked here because I've never seen a case approved after a card being produced.

Thank you @K1visaHopeful

You will have to be specific with "old" and "new".

I run my scans on egov.uscis.gov.

Those statuses/timeline of statuses are from there.

egov.uscis.gov.  - this is where i saw the case was approved for both EAD and AP.

in the new site, which is https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov this is where it says new card being produced for EAD only

Okay then that is definitely weird as that's not the status steps I've seen egov.uscis.gov follow. Wait it out though, week tops.

I wouldn't worry too much...my AP went from "Approved" to " Document was produced" and then, after I received it in the mail, to "Fingerprint Review Was Completed" ...

Ya don’t worry much about it as long as you receive approval notices for EAD/AP.

I have had card produced status for EAD on egov website and no changes for AP. And no changes for either on my account uscis but I have already gotten approval letters for both EAD and AP
