My EAD changes status to "new card is being produced" thank God. 

 

Does this mean my travel permit is also approved even though it did not change status?

AP status rarely updates as I have seen in other cases. Mine hasn’t changed either. As EAD &AP comes as a combo card, it would logically mean AP is approved same time as EAD.

I see, thanks. It actually updated on the old site and not on the new site. new site still says case received.

The enquiry date for EAD is September 17th, 2018 so everyone after that is still within normal processing times. 

Sure a few January filers have managed to sneak in as well as December but they just started really going at October last week.

 

PS some ppl are expedites too and they either will never mention that or they lie just to make themselves feel better than everyone else.

Never expedited and not lying but somehow EAD and AP got approved 3 months earlier. No idea what they’re doing at NBC. However my card has been in production since last Tuesday and it has still not updated to card being mailed. I have already started looking for jobs and reaching out to people. Still a real struggle after approval.

Its been a week and EAD card under production but no update on when will my EAD/AP Card be in the mail. It does say over the phone that you will receive your card within 30 days. 

 

No emails or texts. Receive two notices of approval for EAD and AP. No updates about each on my uscis. So all to say, nothing is in order and I think uscis deserves some grace cuz there are millions of applicants.

16 days ago my status for AOS changed to "Case ready to be scheduled" and today my status changed to "interview was scheduled". This is not expedited and I am as surprised as everyone else. 

 

My EAD is still on day 127. I did not apply for AP.

Anyone from Baltimore LFO?

Happy for you! There's a forum for Baltimore/DC filers that you can find if you search, and I think the Baltimore office has been surprisingly quick recently. My EAD/AP is also 127 today  My LFO is the DC office, which usually takes a while to schedule interviews.

If your GC interview is soon then your EAD case would be closed cuz you don’t need EAD once you get a GC.

Where does it state the EAD/AP case would be closed if the GC interview is scheduled? I'd like to see this please

Not if the GC interview is scheduled. The EAD and AP will discontinue processing of your GC is ISSUED.

You wont need an EAD or AP if you have an approved GC....

In fact, at your GC interview if you have an EAD or AP you are expected to bring those documents to turn in.

Sorry not when the interview is scheduled but when GC is Approved. 

 

I actually meant to say that if your GC interview is scheduled sometime soon like within a month and if approved then you don’t need an EAD. GC means you’re a permanent resident & becoming permanent resident from any immigration category don’t need EADs to work. Sorry typed too fast earlier.
