Thank you!! I was concerned that they think I’m still single. I feel better that it doesn’t effect how I file my taxes. I would prefer to file jointly for the benefit of green card interview.

You can only file jointly if your husband has SSN or ITIN.

I don't have SSN so my husband filed "married filing separately" and we'll get less money back because of it.

Hello,

did anyone had their biometrics at the beginning of January? Mine was Jan 3rd, but my status still isn't changing to "biometrics ready" - any idea how long does it take?

Finally had my biometrics appointment today. Boston (where we live) doesn't do bio biometrics anymore apparently. People are directed to either Lawrence, MA (1 hour north of Boston) or Providence, RI (1 hour south). Mine was in Providence and it was very fast, only 3 people waiting before me and one person waiting after me.

My status already changed to "As of January 28, 2019, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your form" for both i-485 and i-765.

I had my bio done on Jan 4th, nothing changed since then. My friends told me it might not changed at all. So everything you have to do is just wait.

It did! But looking at this forum it seems to be different for everyone... So I have no idea how mine changed the same day and others wait longer.

I had mine Jan 9 and it hasn’t changed either, I guess it’s all dependent on your local offices officiency 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was actually going to message you and ask if yours had updated! Interesting... I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, hoping our office doesn’t have toooooo long a wait for interviews (wishful thinking) 😂

Yesterday my status changed to "As of January 29, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number ..., for an interview."

I'm glad to see my status change, but since my office is Boston, I think the actual interview won't happen before Fall 2019 😂

BTW: my status has changed on the old USCIS website. On the new website, it still says received on all three forms.
