Sorry we are talking about Adjustment of Status (the GreenCard application) in this thread. Are you?

You would be scheduling an Infopass with USCIS in the US to ask them to explain why the documents you sent with your I864 for your AOS application didnt meet the requirements. You would show them your RFE and what financial documents you sent and ask them to explain how you could satisfy the RFE because, as you understood it, you already supplied them with the correct documents and met the FPGLs of your household with those documents.

You can do that here:

https://my.uscis.gov/en/appointment/v2

I agree. I'm already under his health insurance but I think in order to open bank accounts we might need my SSN?? Not sure.

I opened my bank account at chase way before getting the SSN. They didn't even ask. I think that is for most banks.

I was having the same issue too with my husbands bank. Chase bank allows you to open one without a social security you’ll just need to visit a branch with ID :)

Exactly. I opened one without SSN, but they did ask me proof of residence. A electricity bill on my name was enough.

Wow you got your interview so fast! We don't know if Cincinnati is processing our case or Louisville. We live in Lexington, KY and were surprised biometrics were in Cincinnati. The Louisville field office is supposed serve the whole state of Kentucky but I guess they use the Cincinnati one for Biometrics. Hopefully our case is in Cincinnati too so it will be as fast as your case!

Good luck to you too!

People have been getting updates on both old and new so I’ve been checking both and no update from my biometrics I did on 1/3 so figured I’d ask where you saw yours. I’m guessing your update is regarding the RFE?
