Ok cool. Do we have to raise our right hand or anything too?

Yep they will ask to raise the right hand too then the oat will start and you just need to answer yes and then they will start the interview..its easy just imagine the k1 visa interview its more easier than that.

I was having the same issue too with my husbands bank. Chase bank allows you to open one without a social security you’ll just need to visit a branch with ID :)

Walked into the Charlotte USCIS office for biometrics, since I will be out of the country during the scheduled appointment.  In and out with my wife and her 2 kids in 15 minutes.  If only all USCIS processes were so fast and efficient.

FINALLY got a text saying USCIS received my stepson's AP/EAD/AOS!  We sent it December 24, and FedEx delivered it December 27.  USCIS acknowledges receipt as of January 14!  - Jason

Well it's been a week since my biometrics appointment in Nashville (January 7)... still no updates to my status online. Old site says Fingerprint Fee received and then the new site just says Case Received for all the applications. I wish it could just be consistent for everyone, updates really make a difference psychologically during this waiting game! Not sure how soon after biometrics ppl got an update, but I'm thinking i might be one of the ppl that doesnt get a changed status online. Hopefully the prints are fine!

Yea, I decided to wait til the end of the week before checking again. But at least it helps knowing that the majority of people aren't getting updates. Some comfort in common discomfort haha!

Is anyone here familiar with Electronic AR-11, I moved last week and I submitted an AR-11 for my 3 forms(see below).  I only got 1 email confirmation, I thought I added the I-765 and I-131 as well but it seems like when i got the email confirmation, it only mentioned I-485. am i suppose to submit 3 separate AR-11s?

also it wouldn't allow me to choose the form sub type for the other 2, weird system. did i do it correctly?

Hey All!

So we got NOA1 on 12/20. Had Biometrics 01/09.

Received request for initial evidence on the affidavit of support, saying my wife doesn't earn more then the poverty guideline for our household size (2).

Surprised us as it is over 300% the guideline. She was a student last year so we sent in; VOE and several paystubs confirming how much she now earns. However the RFE states we didn't show she earns enough.

Anyone else have this happen? or tips?

thanks

I too was told I don't make enough to sponsor my husband. Our family is 3 people and I made 37,000 last year. I'm required to make 25,975. I have no idea what to do. We have no options for cosponsor

It's a possibility that they simply lost your financial documents though. I'd call and make an infopass appt and show an officer your documents before you consider needing a joint sponsor.

I don't know what an infopass appointment is. Who do I call. The embassy in his country. How do I do that they are automated
