Our I-485 now says on the old site it is ready to be schedule for an interview.  The new site says we received your case.  Hopefully, we can get to do ours earlier and get the green card sooner.  Is anyone else's saying that too on the old site?

Well I'm not sure of the exact URL, but I know the USCIS Case tracker app for iPhone I was told uses the old site and that is where I seen it at.  I hope that helps.

Hi! I'm joining at the last minute with Noa date 12/31. Happy to make it in 2018:)

Do I have to check my case status to know about the biometrics appointment or will they notify me about it's date?

Got our intial evidence letter finally...

 

Guess what.. they want my husbands (my sponsor) IRS transcript.... which we 1086960% sent with the original AOS packet... how incredibly frustrating 😩😠 they clearly lost/misplaced it

They will send you a letter by mail. Usually one will receive their biometrics appt within 1 month of NOA1 so you can expect that timeline....usually.

Hi Everyone,

Officially got our 3 NOA1's on 1/5/19 with Received Date 12/24/18😁

We are expecting to get RFE's in return as we didn't put duplicate copies of the requested documents for each form😫 *shrugs*

Few questions, since I now have no idea what's next:

From what I'm understanding by reading this forum, I wait to receive another letter in the mail which will have the appointment date/time for the biometrics (Usually takes a month after receiving NOA1?) 

Is there anything else I need to check in the meantime? 

Also, we applied for my husband's SSN and SAVE Case Check says the case has been returned to the agency. What does that mean? What are the next steps in obtaining his SSN?

Guess what.. they want my husbands (my sponsor) IRS transcript.... which we 1086960% sent with the original AOS packet... how incredibly frustrating 😩😠 they clearly lost/misplaced it

So annoying! At least it something that's easy to put together and send back asap and not an actual mistake within the packet

12/12/18 Mailed AoS + EAD + AP

12/14/18 Package delivered at Chicago Lockbox

12/20/18 Text notifications received 

12/24/18 NOA1 received 

12/31/18 Biometrics Appointment letter received. Scheduled for 1/9/19

01/03/19 Biometrics walk-in done

06/18/19 Interview was scheduled

The Biometrics appointment will most likely take place one month from your PD, or somewhere around that. Nothing to check yet. My PD is 12/19 and my Biometrics was scheduled for January 9th, although I did a walk-in on the 3rd instead.

 

I can't comment on the SSN because I'm changing status from an expired B2 visitor visa so I'll get my SSN with the combo card
